That's what happened when I was banned... It was more house arrest than internet ban... hippy was outside my flat for the whole 24hr period...

Never underestimate the power of the forum

Once youre in, you can never leave unless youre banned, then youll spend the rest of your days pining and wishing and doing everything in your power to get back in.

You need to get out a bit more, Iain...

BMMF, I think, going past the New Change shopping centre that has just opened opposite St Pauls on Sunday morning. Looked like the start of a winter training ride.
We were taking Darcy to see mummy's office.
Don't think so. I was winter training, riding south at 8.15am, but I went Barbican->Smithfield->Farringdon Rd->Blackfriars.
Nervous about doppelgänger now.

Is it seasonal? I was sure you fell off regularly pretty much all year round...

Oh, hang on. If it was about noon, I did go up there. It was the ***end ***of a winter training ride :)

Nah, we don't look that alike (unless sleeping, according to my mum).
And although it may fly in the face of forum opinion, I don't stand a chance of ever becoming as much of a cunt as him.

She's a courier. Selling cakes BTW...
Oh right - yeah that sounds about right. I never really go down that end - I'm normally fully focused on the sausage and bacon roll queue, followed by the meat guys in the van and then the bread guy - by which point my middle class threshold has normally been breached so it's off to the Irish for a pint.

I got new tyres at Putney Bikes and had the rim tape checked out and had them put the new tyres and tubes on which they did expertly but it still punctured a couple of miles away. Looks like I may need new rims.

I went to pump up the tyre with a track pump after changing the inner tube on Sunday after months of incident free riding. The valve went. I replaced the tube. The new tube turned out to have a gash in it. I replaced it, put the wheel back on and went to wash and scrub my hands. Bang. Wheel off, tyre off, new inner on. Wheel on pump up. Wash hands and bang. New one on and this one held until I was almost home that evening. Next one lasted a day....

You destroyed two tubes just by washing your hands? That truly puts Ed to shame. :)

Would it have been Hippy walking west along High Holborn in a rollapaluza shirt at about 7.20 on Friday evening with no bike? I was carrying a big bunch of flowers and heading east on my way to catford.

Did he look like this? (with rolla t instead of his club kit)
I'm sure I saw DJ by Barnes station. But he was on a mountain bike, and recalled he was banned, so I was confused.
