why does everybody hate aerospoke wheels so much??
pj is just cynical, everyone loves them except pj.
-
• #3178
not just PJ. i think they are pointless whimsical objects of little merit apart from alleged visual appeal.
unfortunately there are too many objects like this in the world, for me it's the marriage of form and function that makes something desirable not vulgar ostentatious baubles to adorn hipster bikes.but if they make you happy and get you riding a bike then good for you.

Bright red, brand new Fausto Coppi with white deep v rear parked up opposite me work in Lower Regent Street.......who are you? Tis a very handsome job, luv the chrome.
Sorry, a bit late in replying to this, I saw the same bike the other day in regent street, and stopped to chat to the owner, a young trendy Japanese guy. I've got a yellow Coppi, and his is the only other one i've seen on the roads. He picked it up on ebay recently, it's a really nice set up, very stylish with nitto drops, one white DV snf clean as a whistle all round.

I keep on seeing a young male sporting moderately long facial hair and decisively trendy clothing, with a bike seemingly devoid of any braking devices or multi-geared systems. Said bike is of metallic green color, and of Japanese origin, probably a Samson. These sightings occur on Whitecross street or in surrounding alleys. The handlebars are rising and truncated, as opposed to curved and tointing down.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Good Samaritan on the Pale blue Samson who helped me out this morning. I got caught short with a puncture and no spare next to Pentonville Prison. He stopped and put in his own spare. Who was that masked man?! I didn't have any cash on me to give him in return. Hopefully I'll be able to repay the favour sometime.
