Was he in a black cab? Yeah, I've definitely spotted him before.
;^)
The last time I've seen him, he was driving a night bus.

I feel for ya mate (would've helped but already in Wimbledon by the time you posted).
A good alternative would be getting a couple bin bag from the cornershop, disassembled your bike enough to make it into a smaller package, wrap bin bag, and then hop into a bus.

Alas i also forgot all my tools (got a new bag today and didnt sort my shit out) which made me feel like a tool.
Saw many taxis and buses passing me but powered on via foot and after two monster energy drinks I was steaming

Friday evening would have been a good time to spot andyp as I gave myself a flat tire before Horniman Museum hill when I tried to pump it up and forgot that I need an adapter for my presta valve. Yay. Walked home over Overhill Road thinking Emilia would be home, but no go. That shit's steeper than I realized!

Exactly, kids will often do that because they feel embarrassed waiting at the light while the grown up jumped it as if it's perfectly normal.
Ed, if they're teeny tiny kids it's more likely they think they're supposed to go, or it's ok to go, because an adult has gone.

Simply dozens of fixed riders on way out to Richmond Park and back and more fixed riders in the Park than I have seen before.
More importantly, Camilla O riding out to Richmond Park, doing a lap and then riding home. Her first long fixed ride. Around 35 miles. She bonked when we got to Clerkenwell a couple of miles from home and I was going to hail her a cab but she rallied and made it home. Proud father.

Pat her on the back for me. Looks like I'm gonna have to step Mal's training up a notch ;)
*I took a single bottle of water out today, no food. ~80k + 3 hill climbs = urgh, good one dickhead.

KLMNice to meet you KLM we resolved the discussion and agreed that the best way to improve bike control is to play polo, get cycle training, go on rides and races, commute daily and spent time on the track, on a bmx and off road on a MTB.
