Who rides the gorgeous green Walvale that I've seen in Forest Hill lately? Is it the bike that jammy did up for someone whose father had raced it?
Anyway, it's such a beautiful frame. Not so sure about those white rims though. Maybe I'm just jealous as I'm still off the bike after a ripped calf muscle three weeks ago...

I spotted the darling horatio last night while I was doing an emergency food run before the lecture.
He gave a rather cheery wave, but the beard is getting out of control.Funny that, the beard thinks that horatio is getting out of control. I suppose you have to see both sides of both sides.

Lordy, that's just bloody ace. Thing is isn't he dead? Fell off his roof fixing his telly aerial?
Monsieur Loic razzing down New Cross Gate at an ungodly hour in shitting rain wearing a dashing cape, spotted by me, wearing an identical cape. I loved it.
Uhh yeah, he's dead.

That was so cool, in the rain, I bet you were thinking just like me "Ah this cape is so brilliant! Look at me cycling in the storm but staying dry!" and then to see you, great minds think alike!
I have to say that this Carradice Poncho / Cape was really amazing at the beginning. I remember cycling under really heavy rain forever (45mn - 1hour journeys), on a bike with proper mudgards and mudflap, not even wearing shoe covers or rain trousers and arriving home totally dry! After nearly a year of use (it's always in my bag) it is now a bit less waterproof, especially at the back were the reflective stripe accros is sawn to the fabric. I need to look into re-waxing it, I hope it's not too much trouble to do...

You can get wax for re-proofing from the hunting shootin and fishing aisle at Decathlon pretty cheaply. I think you have to apply with a cloth, it's pretty messy but not too hard.

Where do you get the Carradice Poncho? their website said it's out of stock and I'm using a cheap 'tent' that claim to be a poncho at the moment.
still work thought and only my feet were a bit wet.
Aha, that was chopsicle, eh? Used to post a bit on here, right?
Well, it was meant to be sloaney, but it works as NI too ...
