  • never! would never do that. but was in mid chat as part of a nice roll in with chopsicle this morning.

good to see you and the fluff. as always. x

Aha, that was chopsicle, eh? Used to post a bit on here, right?

Is that an attempt at my accent?

Well, it was meant to be sloaney, but it works as NI too ...

and Rod Hull coming out of Tescos with two bags full of jelly.

Lordy, that's just bloody ace. Thing is isn't he dead? Fell off his roof fixing his telly aerial?

Monsieur Loic razzing down New Cross Gate at an ungodly hour in shitting rain wearing a dashing cape, spotted by me, wearing an identical cape. I loved it.

  • some one on a nice chromed fixed (bianchi pisti ?) in te carnage at kennington pk by bowling green st. morning

    Y'day morning.
    Usual place.
S'cept it was a Stealth Spot.

Recognised the colour, but not the Logo...
That F-O-R-T new is it ?
    Hmmmmm ?

  • Who rides the gorgeous green Walvale that I've seen in Forest Hill lately? Is it the bike that jammy did up for someone whose father had raced it?

Anyway, it's such a beautiful frame. Not so sure about those white rims though. Maybe I'm just jealous as I'm still off the bike after a ripped calf muscle three weeks ago...

  • I spotted the darling horatio last night while I was doing an emergency food run before the lecture.
He gave a rather cheery wave, but the beard is getting out of control.

Funny that, the beard thinks that horatio is getting out of control. I suppose you have to see both sides of both sides.

  • Traffic probably decided to divert down there after an accident at the traffic lights on Kennington Park Rd earlier this morning.

do you know what happened there? only day i get the bus in and fucking late...

also, got called a fakenger whilst walking along fleet street. clearly i am doing it right, i didn't even have a bag. except a plastic tesco one, but i was unaware they are now courier chic.

yeah was good to roll with you dude. and we had plenty of traffic theatre to keep us occupied too.

    what are these bars?

  • i got rather drunk by 8.30 and had about 6 coffees and texted several people on t'forum. good times.

I was receiving updates on his shitting patterns from about 9pm.

That was so cool, in the rain, I bet you were thinking just like me "Ah this cape is so brilliant! Look at me cycling in the storm but staying dry!" and then to see you, great minds think alike!

I have to say that this Carradice Poncho / Cape was really amazing at the beginning. I remember cycling under really heavy rain forever (45mn - 1hour journeys), on a bike with proper mudgards and mudflap, not even wearing shoe covers or rain trousers and arriving home totally dry! After nearly a year of use (it's always in my bag) it is now a bit less waterproof, especially at the back were the reflective stripe accros is sawn to the fabric. I need to look into re-waxing it, I hope it's not too much trouble to do...

  • A guy on a green/turquoise bike wearing an LCEF cap, you followed me all the way up new north road
but i was in a car felt inappropriate to pull a DAS!

You can get wax for re-proofing from the hunting shootin and fishing aisle at Decathlon pretty cheaply. I think you have to apply with a cloth, it's pretty messy but not too hard.

  • Phil somebody, Canning town this morning, bunking off work no doubt! Nice day for it, dont blame you. I was holding a cat in a box and shouting in the street. ha

I don't like riding in those things at all.

Where do you get the Carradice Poncho? their website said it's out of stock and I'm using a cheap 'tent' that claim to be a poncho at the moment.

still work thought and only my feet were a bit wet.
