It must be. Spent a while dodging a total fluoro penis this morning who was running every red light, weaving in and out of traffic without looking, and diving up the inside of buses like a ferret up a trouser leg. Nearly took me out twice. Dickhead.

Spotted last week: a hirsute hipster in the Bermondsey area, riding with only half a handlebar, yet with the full complement of arms. I figured it was the aftermath of a mechanical failure, so left well enough alone.
Spotted yesterday: the self same muppet, still riding with only half a handlebar. Maybe its the new brakless and I missed a memo?

perhaps that is his polo bike and he thinks you need 1/2 a handlebar to swing a polo mallet

Had my first expreience of almost being taken off my bike by someone riding one of those them there hire bikes and not looking where he was going and being in the wrong lane and then switching suddenly. First of many such experiences, I would imagine.
On a positive note, a colleague who has started riding them there hire bikes from Paddington Station each morning was today enquiring about Bromptons. A step in the right direction.

To the girl with the bleached hair and black single speed on New North Rd this morning, apologies if you thought I was overtaking you because you're a woman or as a sign of how manly I am, that totally wasn't the case I was just riding faster than you at the time. There really wasn't any need to cane it up the hill in an effort to regain your position in front of me, you just caused both of us to be knackered when we reached the top.
Anyway, chapeau, you can ride pretty damn fast.

I've seen him a couple of times. Last week on the cycle/path/lights outside The Lyceum. Someone shouted "Oi Oi Boris" to which he replied "mumble, mumble, mumble"
