75p apiece. More expensive than buying online, but not unreasonably so IMHO. Especially given that I can have a pie and a chinotto there and that the people are lovely.
I totally agree Steph - i have been buying from Evans @50p each but they are a bunch of idiots* and look at me funny when i ask for "spokes".
75p ain't too bad - they always look cheap online until you factor in p&p (cyclebasket charge £7 or something daft!).
Do LMNH have a good range of sizes? Sorry for the third degree but i'd rather take a trip up there and buy spokes from genuine decent guys and get beer/food at the same time :-)
*Note - i have not been in every Evans shop and am only applying this to the two where i have bought spokes.

They didn't have the 293 I was after, but I suspect that's a fairly unusual size (smallish flange Royce hub to very low profile Ambrosio Excellight rim). They had 292 and a fair number of others though. DT Swiss and Sapim were mentioned - the 292s were DT Swiss so that's what I got.
Definitely worth a go, and one could always call ahead.

I was trackstanding (obv ;-s), but I think you may be thinking of the chap on the Blue Charge with Silver tape on the rear stay. I think you followed me from Bermondsey Tube until you exited at 7Islands.
Sure thing mate - come to think of it were you the guy i was following from Tooley St. up Jamaica road, riding at quite a fast pace? There were a couple of occaisons where there was a double trackstand going on at the lights?

Max Crowe, Eastbound on Old Street as I went to get some nosh and spokes at LMNH. Didn't shout as you had your game face fully on.
Hi Steff!
It's like his normal face when someone buys him a beer. Somewhere between happiness and genuine fear.
I will show you genuine fear.
