I saw two guys on Chiswick high street at about 6:30 both on really nice looking bikes; one Cinelli Vigorelli & the other was a boardman - I'd just spent the last 20mins weaving between floro jackets/getting cut-up at traffic lights by said jackets so couldn't muster the effort to say hi - but hello now!

Clefty, I did see you this morning going over tower bridge. We must have waited together when the bridge was up, without noticing. Just saw you veering to the right and it was too late for a hello.

last night at around 8 o clock right nexto to marble hill in st margarets- some guy on the most ridiculous lo-pro ever. from the front it looked like he was on a kids bike. the front wheel had to be at least 24" and possibly smaller.
i just kind of incoherently shouted at him.

I like it. I also like to acknowledge other fixie skidders and road cyclists. You know, there's that kind of more* clued up* cyclists similar to mountain climbers - you are there on purpose, you enjoy it, it's not purely about getting from A to B. And it's worth to nod, wave, say something.

Cant quite remember, was a couple of weeks ago, he said the offer was on for a while. If its usually 19.99, it was 16.99 or something. Not the best deal in the world, but works as an excuse to buy 2!
