  • Spotted - Mikec - nice chatting to you mate!
Yesterday about 6pm heading up Holloway Road - White frame with black rear mudguard. Fixed. We kept overtaking each other but I never said hi.

  • Hey JayGee64 - black pearson was me.

Your Surly was still looking nice and shiny - praps I need to give mine a bit of a clean.

Where d'you come in from / to? Will lookout & say hi.

  • Hi Mongrel,

You too. Am tentatively putting my name down for the Brighton run

  • Nah. Clean bikes are for obsessive people with oily rags. I ride in form Tooting Bec to Tottenham Court Road. Will say hi.

  • Ooh another in the Tooting Massive! will look out for your surly fella!

  • RPM
then a tommy look-alike in lambert rd , brixton 1130 ish, with a drivetrain in need off attention, looked like the chainring was ready to go, but the chain wanted out.

I would have said hello but I'm a bit of a rude cunt.
i think that was me woulda said hello but i feel really conscious of my dilapidated bike, plus you can never tell if the other persons a rude cunt or not ;)

  • I cycle the kids to school and pass a female riding a Surly across Tooting Common most mornings.
Yellow Holdsworth with blue mudguards anyone? SW2 - W1....

  • saw tommy along southwark st turning right up blackfriars brg about 1030 today. and a female with long light colour hair green(?) cap/beanie on the same road heading west

  • Ah I saw a linging look as I turned right, I was running late as I had to ride into work to pick up a cable I left behind last night. Grrr.

    Nice to see you.

    yay, first genuine forum spot!

I wouldn't worry about the bike, new bikes don't stay new very long if they get used a lot

  • JayGee64 Passed by Pale Blue Condor between Balham and Clapham South. Merino mmmmm.

    Mr Smith.

he's the only person stubborn enough to ride a pale blue condor along the commuter drag at that time of day.

  • A light blue Bob Jackson with yellow graphics being wheeled down Bow Street about 4.30, and two new bikes in our office car park in Euston; a white fixed Geoff Butler track frame and a wierd Cannondale with tiny ickle wheels with a singleator. Out of about 18 bikes parked there thats now 4 fgss together with the slack chained Langster.

  • tallsam On Saturday at around 4 or 5 o clock pm (coming out of Cycle Surgery on the Holloway Road) I saw a guy (mid 30's, white) with two kids (less than 10, more than 5) and two bikes. Both pretty much looked like a Raleigh Team Burner.

Brakeless, Arrospok's front and back, the works.

    Anyones(s)?

BTW I used to have a Team Mag Burner:

I'd still have one over the arrospok track frame version to be fair. I loved that bike. But not as much as my Styler, or my Burner or even the Night Burner that I rode until I was about 22.

I had a Raleigh Night Burner when I was a kid. My favourite possession. Ever. Wish I still had it... I actually got excited when I saw this picture of one!

  • Saw Slamm heading south along Clapham road this evening. Hey mate. You were being followed quite closely by the Rasta dude. He looked like he would have overtaken you unless you put some speed on :)

  • got this for sale - all original bits

  • that is sweet wayne

  • saw a SWEET pink Bridgestone flying along High Street Kensington today. gotta be someone on here! Also a Charge Plug locked outside Sainsbury in Angel

  • That was me on the Bridgestone. I wasn't exactly flying though, more of a dawdle. I was thinking about where to get a spanner to tighten my forever loosening back nuts. Anyone else suffer from loose nuts, fnar? By the way, does anyone else who rides brakeless find that in the morning when you set off you really don't have the energy to skid stop, it's a sort of leg-lag. Or am i just getting old.

  • I saw Mouse this morning, turning up to work as I was leaving home. We both had shame - he was on a full carbon gears thingy and I was walking!

Good to see you fella, catch you on Sunday night.

  • Lebowski Saw Slamm heading south along Clapham road this evening. Hey mate. You were being followed quite closely by the Rasta dude. He looked like he would have overtaken you unless you put some speed on :)

hehe, yeah he caught up to me at the lights. What a character!

  • (Thanks for not mentioning the Assos lycra Mashton - d'oh!)

  • Parked up outside my office, south side of Blackfriars Bridge... Anyone on here?

  • i think I spotted Provenrad this morning in Priory Lane, heading towards Roehampton Gate (I was going the other way). I tried raising an eyebrow in ackowledgement, but it may have just looked like a twitch.

  • Saw someone with blue something, front spynergy and uncovered nittos(?)

[cite]Skullhead[/cite]riding up that never-ending slope from Clerkenwell road onto Theobalds road
    . (lol)

Said "nice wheel" but I think he thought I was being sarcastic, he nearly got hit by a scooter courier straying into the bike lane.
I was on the outside hopping over the traffic Islands.

  • just saw chandra spinning down TCR, doing the courier thing on a piece of red steel. what happened to the Dolan?
