I need to change my commute; I can't stand the stress of witnessing the suicidal riding heading north into the bus lane at bottom of Russell Square.
Every other day someone rides up there hugging the curb and then just keeps going straight into the bus lane as the traffic flow goes left around the square. Today Spanish girl on a hybrid with Ipod on oblivious as a van has to do an emergency stop to stop from rolling over her. I was to the rear and right of the lorry in middle of the road and absolutely shit myself.
Tried to have a word with her about turning right across traffic there but she just said "I was going straight, what's the problem?" and I realised she fundamentally didn't recognise how the road layout worked.

Rare gabes spot, Southwark Bridge Road... Then I also almost got T-boned by a dude on a Unipak on Cable Street, he got startled by a turning lorry on the other side of the road (we were on the cycle lane FFS, about 10yds away) so he performed an emergency manoeuvre straight into my path... Ordinarily I'd have screamed blue murder at him but I just pissed myself laughing instead... Hilarious... Lovely morning...

On a more positive note, a girl in a pink top on a Unipack with a Brooks saddle absolutely caning it up OKR past a startled Cerveloist who tried to give chase but was dropped. Good spinning miss.
