Well if you had just said Blackfriars* Rd* instead of Bridge you could have avoided all this confusion. Maybe we need some kind of Nursery for people new to Spotting?
Yes, that would have been me going to turn left on to Upper Ground. And then left on to Waterloo Bridge and then Lancaster Pl. Across the Strand. Up Wellington st and Bow st, across Long Acre, on to Endell st, left in to Shelton st, right up Mercer st, left on to Earlham st, left on to Shaftesbury Ave, across Cambridge Circus and down Romilly st, right in to Beak st, left (illegally) on to Old Compton st, right on to Wardour st, left on to Broadwick st, right on to Poland st and then stopping to stand by on 'the corner' for half an hour, eating a sandwich and chatting to other couriers.
why did you tell us that? -

why did you tell us that?

The numbers go south to north, Ludgate House is the last building on Blackfriars Road (no.245, I'm not counting Doggett's) then you get the bridge itself... Will that do? ;]

Why do a track bike, waterproof jacket and jeans make him appear like a transvestite?

There is no apostrophe in Blackfriars, bridge or road.

I said he was half and half —*he was wearing jeans and waterproof - BUT had a fully made up face AND stiletto heels on

Dear boy, the point of my post was that the fully made up face and stilletto heels made him appear like a courier.
[My comedy genius is wasted on here ;o)]

Clive, in his droll and scholarly way, was implying that the shoes and make-up were what distinguished him as a courier, rather than the waterproofs and so on. Clive has a record of salacious imaginings when it comes to couriers.
What he said^

Spotted on Moorgate at about 12:40pm
Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh being whizzed along in the state Bentley.
Shouted DAS but they ignored me. -

Dan, this is not a courier. If he tells you he is a courier, don't believe him. Any statement by him concerning couriering should be treated with suspicion and is not an infallible utterance.

Someone who did the Tweed Run called Fred still sporting a fine example of a waxed moustache, having his Caterham approved in my place today. On here perhaps? Only found out after you'd left about the Tweed Run so didn't get to say hi.
