saw a fellow in a white condor cap at around 22.50 this evening going up clapham road - gave me a bemused look.....if i looked funny it is because I am. and my saddle is giving me pain ! and in my bag I had an ebay bargaintastic 10sp centaur groupset which I am just a little bit too pleased about right now.......

That idiot in Brixton whom gets off and runs his bike through lights was pissing me off this morning. I thought he just ran it through ped crossings, but no. Today coming down brix hill he jumped off at the double lights near the fridge, ran his bike past a cop car, then jumped back on in the flow of traffic coming round the corner. Absolute wally. What the fark is he thinking/doing?

See the thing is, he isn't being a ped. He's running is bike with the flow of traffic. Ped xings go at right angles to the traffic (usually). He's just stopping, getting off and running it across the ASL before remounting in the flow of traffic. He's a nob. Darwins theory of evolution in full fail mode.

He's by-passing the stop line (when you RLJ, the unlawful bit is crossing the stop line at red). Once you're past the stop line, you can in theory just remount, and in practice you obviously need to watch out. It's an inelegant manoeuvre for sure, and not recommended.
