London Bridge, Pajamas and someone else at 10 this morning going the opposite direction. I was geared though with helmet and sunglasses so not sure if he recognised me. Looked a bit confused when I gave him a friendly nod!

Hmmmmm?
Not really a "doh" moment, I had the green light but a pack of peds decided to cross just as I was coming along, so I shouted and used my brakes but at the same moment my front brake cable came off. My back brake did the slowing (I ride ss) and the peds stopped crossing. It could have happened at a far worse moment and once sorted the rest of my journey was done with paranoia in my hands.

spotted 3 women all riding single speed/fixed along Mortlake High Street just now (possibly with some children). The first one had a beautiful purple frame - couldn't quite see what it was, the only other thing I noticed was that the other two had white rims. Like a twat I shouted DAS then realised I was inside with the windows closed...

Oi mate in one of Tynan's 'For Sale' t-shirt. Yeah, I'm wearing a Slayer T-shirt; I like Slayer. What's your fucking problem? Judgemental arsehole.

London Fields was absolute Hell on Earth last weekend, and it wasn't even that warm. It must've been fucking awful this weekend.
Saw some guy in blue wearing sunglasses, red and yellow bike, turning onto Wick Road from Leyton direction yesterday. I was looking gormless, suddenly woke up when he gave a very cheery "Good morning!"
And to you sir, and to you!

London Fields was literally a sea of hipsters as far as the eye could see today. Chainbreaker got the lovely reply of "suck my fucking cock" after shouting DAS.

i missed you at the ladies' training session yesterday at HH.Sorry, E, only just saw this. I wasn't being rude :-)
Yep, that would've been me - my students get lovely coffee based tutorials over the holidays because I am nice. I wanted to do the TS, but I am so out of shape – just been commuting the last few months.

Spotted a beautiful gold brakeless number glide passed me on the south bank, near Victoria yesterday. Was gliding pretty quickly so couldn't see what it was, but it looked 3Rensho ish. Anyone own a classy gold coloured Japanese (poss) bike? Stunning.

yeah i think it did have an orangey coloured lever. i didnt look at the wheel though.
Turns out Her Ladyship was narrating her eventful weekend (what is the Spanish for "I rode my fixed wheel bicycle while wearing tweeds with 500 similarly minded people"?) and MrsO said that she had been up west keeping an eye out for the Tweed Run. The conversation developed from there.
