Someone called out and waved to me today as I was attempting to overtake all the cars turning into Bethnal Green Rd from Shoreditch high street, but alas I was too concentrate-on-traffic-y and too far the other way to see exactly who. (was it Sano?)

An unusual spot on Saturday, a group of about five guys on fixed gears pootling out of the Black Lion pub in Plaistow, of all places. Not a sight seen often round those parts!
Ha, that was me and a few mates. Not all fixed/SS, probably 4 fixed, 1 SS, a couple of hybrids and a Brompton.
We were doing a pub ride, Hackney Downs > Leyton > Plaistow > Limehouse > Wapping > Bethnal Green > Victoria Park > Lower Clapton.

[QUOTE=Skully;1330653]What really winds me up is people pronouncing Holborn 'holl - born'. It's Ho-b'n. The announcer on the tube gets it wrong ffs, and now every tit calls it Holl Born. Grrrr.

TBH, it seems a little un-fair to refer to it as New Cross (gate).
Whenver I say that I live there, people get a slightly worried expression on their face and ask me how it is.
I live in a super posh area... it doesn't all add up.
someone shouted "do a skid" at me on Fulham road today. made me chuckle.
