I was hanging around that junction taking pictures for a photography project but was distracted when they arrived so only managed to get a photo from very far away...
Was it you taking photos of the new metro bank there at around 2?

wiggin will having a Guinness in a pub on Saturday night.
I had two actually; I'm living la vida, me.
You should have come up and introduced yourself so I could have hidden the fact that I have forgotten who you are by calling you 'mate' all the time and smiling till my cheeks get cramp which is what I do with 90% of the people I have met on here. -

Speaking of comedy gold...
I saw a youngish guy today on a fixie mincer sweeet trix bike (bruv cuz) catch his heel on the trick nuts he had on the back of said sweet fixie, and go flying face first with bike behind him into a bus lane. I did wait till I was sure he was ok before I allowed myself to truly relish the moment, and I would have had more sympathy, but A. he must have know the clearance between his heel and his nuts (heh) wasn't much, and B. he was mincing about the road in that slow weave-y way that drives me insane.
He seriously had pegs on his bike???!!!!

epic. I tried taking a photo of him but failed.
I thought the foot jammin' was the best bit really, it looked very uncomfortable.

I am glad someone realizes the gravity of the situation.
Yes, he had big yellow pegs. two of em, which I thought only council estate kids with little brothers used.

Well....I am only talking from observation, the only bmx riding I ever do is on the track, but most of the dudes in the shop use a peg on one side, sometimes one on the front and the back, but normally only on one side. It seems that most people have a side that they grind on, and to keep weight down there is no point having pegs on both sides so that you can ambi-grind.
Unless your 12 and need to carry your 8 year old brother around so that he can hold the wheels you steal.

Spotted! One of Overandout's name badges on the wall of the down escalator at Old Street Tube, his writing but couldn't work out the name. Awesome! So who put it there? and why were you taking the tube?

Nope, I'd gone by then. I'm taking photos of nodders for a photography project, lunchtime was disappointing, I guess because they are all in their offices.
I'm not being ironic by the way - when you look at them nodders are actually fascinating, there is much more variation in their bikes and clothing than people with the kit/ability who seem a bit dull by comparison.
Just not sure how I'm going to explain my project to my tutor, is there a more polite phrase I wonder?!

I did the same thing in Oxford a few years ago. If anyone thinks a rollapaluza sex face is bad, that's nothing compared to the gurnings of the nodder peleton.

I actually REALLY want to get some pegs on the back of my bike. I have this great idea about cycling down Stoke Newington Church St with one of my homegirls on the back, wearing an eyepatch and a telescope and bellowing I SEE NO FIXIES at innocent bystanders.
Fucking SWEET.

People on bikes? Cyclists?
Guy on a ss/fixed with a red backpack in Greenwich park at around 1 this afternoon, hello.
