Fella on black bike with red decals, white lid, mudguard. Right by my house in E7/E11 area at tea time! Rare sighting! Hello.
Would have shouted but was in shock and not really my style, would have looked like a twat also. -

a white/green blb bob jackson vigorelli free locked every day in my company's underground car park.
now i'm sure it's quite safe down there, but there's so much that you can lock that bike to. and you're just using a steel-o-flex. you're making me paranoid on your behalf.

About a week ago was riding down holloway just off camden road. 2 guys rode past one on a single speed / fixed and the other on road bike. Stopped off to go in the shop.

Spotted a surly on vauxhall bridge going south. Memorable because whatever light they had on the front was stupid bright. And it was only 3.00 pm.

Fuji track pro with distinctive blue rear light, ridden by possible female at the big OKR/NKR roundabout, about half an hour ago. Observed from behind a tree, pumping furiously away while rectifying a (bloody massive) pothole induced air-in-rear-tube fail. Lambeth council owes me a fiver for a new tube innit.

why are there's so many people riding with blue rear light instead of red? the idiocy!

^"you ride brakless"

it's the red or weak amber front lights that get me sigh but it's all better than going ninja.
Light related - If anyone's south-east today and feeling desperate there was a knog on the ground in a pothole at the bottom of loampit vale, northbound, opposite the MFI or whatever it is now.God I'm so bored of my commute.

9am this morning near old street a chap in fluro vest and helmet riding a white benotto conversion with gold chain ring doing a well wobbly trackstand. I don't know how you stayed upright but when you made it to the green light I let out a little "yay!" for ya.

Headwind of doom seemed to encourage blood-chilling nodder antics this morning. The guy on the Brompton who undertook a skip lorry (whilst it was overtaking a parked car), and then got pasted by driver of said car opening the door onto him (squishing him between the door and the skip lorries massive turning wheels) was very, very, lucky to get away without being injured [/shaking head in despair]

^Jeez?! And why did the driver open his door with a lorry passing by?!?
-
• #23518
It was a woman driving the car, dunno, she had just parked in the roadside bay, so grabbed her stuff and flung the door open without looking I guess. If she hadn't whomped the cyclist with it first she would almost certainly have had the door taken off by the front of the skip lorry though. How the brompton guy bounced off the door and didn't go under the lorry wheel I don't know, thinking about it is still making me cringe.

not entirely unintentional. but still, minds of filf you lot.
sort of spot, in that a courier looked at me like i was a thieving bastard walking along embankment with my wheel in hand just now. was off to whatever bike shop is down there to pump it up proper. It takes a professional hand to get these things good and hard, as it were. -

I only got the perplexed look. I know you did a mini skid just before the bend as i shouted (just before/just after?!?!) so if it was that one - yes. If you did it after seeing my grin, no, unfortunately not you may already have been out of sight. Next time then! Ride safe
sorry for the perplexed look. another skid followed, but we must have been out of sight, oh well. next time.

This can't be serious.
