"they didn't look like cyclists or hipsters"
Lucky them, maybe they're setting a new trend?

Yesterday, a guy RLJing next to Tower Bridge right in front of a motorcycle cop who was waiting at the very red light he ran... did nothing... then some silly bint in a pink car texting at the same set of lights when they green, for ages. And again at Tower Bridge a guy on a road bike in full Brixton Cycles kit...
Yes I was on standby at Tower Bridge for quite a while...
And today, two guys riding like complete arseholes on Clerkenwell road, one on a fixed gear with a rack and midge bars, and the other on a bright green singlespeed bike. Undertaking and general fuckery all over the place... also the guy riding the fixed gear was wearing trainers when the bike had spuds, and at one point took his feet off the pedals and let them spin whilst laughing to his mate... I wonder if they nicked the bikes? They didn't really look like cyclists, or hipsters. They were headed up Old St eastwards.
Fuck that was a long post
that look like I've hijacked your account and posted that.

No, Ed, you'd never be so critical of other riders' riding styles. ;)

I had a forum-tastic day of spottery yesterday:
JC of Herne Hill, heading towards the velo land
Mr JimBilly of JimBillyland
Mr Oliver Spellcheck, pootling towards the environmentalist squat-raid in Dalston, by the looks of it :)
Mr PJ-jamas, on the pinkest of s-low-pros (so surprised I didn't get a chance to shout hello in time)
Mr JDSH, again I had no chance to register recognition
One of the polo boys whose name I forget since I haven't played in um, forever
Skoota was a pre-arranged meet so doesn't count, but we were overjoyed to bump into Mr Jonny Sartorial himself, and had a joyful scoot over Waterloo Bridge holding up traffic and chatting. -

Sunday lunchtimeish, waterloo station by platform 1. Some dude with a super sexytime white geared bianchi wearing a rollapalooza cap and full lycra. Pretty sure we've met before and got a nod and a wink.
I was on a red beater with white tyres with miss appleyard on her purple and white cilo racer. -
