  • Small gathering of urban fixolords on Shoreditch's trendy Famous Old Street in London UK at about 19:00 hours trading football stickers and talking about how many wheelies they've probably done.

  • trawls forum history for new clipless members vehemently defending clips and straps

  • Happens to the best of us, remember you're only gay if you smile/push back.

Or if you have your eyes open - important get out that one

  • rik resplendent in a very fetching merinho/synthetic combo on Tower Bridge this evening... You looked tired, good buddy... x

  • Spotted a bod on a lovely Pink frame, Mercian (i think) New rd/Commercial Rd about 6.16 last night. Me going sarf, you norf. We mutually nodded a smile at each other, hello :)

    jacqui?

Dunno mate. Nice ride tho' white stripes on down tube a'la Mercian, Campy cranks, spok card. And of course a nice friendly smiley nod.

Jacqui was working with me yesterday, pretty sure she wasn't on the bike tho'... She was clobbered up all sexy-business-like in the office... I'll ask her... We coulda had a mini Mercian ride at lunchtime... Bitch!!! ;]

  • Pretty sure I Spotted Ant this morning, about 7.45 by Cycles UK, Greenwich, I was running. Realised about 10 mtrs along who it may have been. Hello.

  • Lots of spots today, Mike the friendly non-forumenger, Loic at Oval (stealth spot), Olly and Vee and Jayjeebus, also spotted an angry Vee chasing a flouro nodder to the lights at Clapham South and telling him off like a naughty schoolboy for riding like a complete twunt - he had nothing - dumbstruck.
Vee this is the second time I've seen you strike the fear of god into wrong-doer's can I just cycle with you from now on, its like having your own bodyguard! :-D

  • A guy on a day-glow coloured Concorde with white arrospok on the front heading West on Kensington High Street this morning at about 8:45.

Didn't get a chance to get a nod in as I was dodging taxis heading east at the time.

hehehe. Nice to see you Clefty this morning.

I am not sure he liked the bit when I told him "you are a big boy now, you don't need to ride on the pavement". He did that a couple of times between Tooting and Clapham South. But I hope that he understood the bit about taking care and paying more attention to others. This guy was simply dangerous and I dread to imagine the number of people he grates on his commute day in and day out.

  • Low pro with drops, maybe brakless riding very slowly on New Oxford st. 1st set of lights you pull-in in front of me just as lights change to green I nearly take you out, 30meters later at 2nd set of lights you ride round in front of me, and around me and actually hit my front wheel.
Learn to ride a fucking bike in a park with stabilisers before you try it on the road.

  • ha I might use that line in future!
he was an idiot though, jumping on the pavement as Jay and I were slowing for a red light then swerving right in front of us back onto the road, I followed him all the way through clapham and witnessed him merrily undertaking large vehicles..he did stay off the pavement from then on though - that told him!

You should've twatted him... I'm gonna start carrying a truncheon in my back pocket for whacking cunts like that... I still can't believe the way some people ride their bikes in this city... Short, sharp justice... I love having a good shout/gettin' in someone's face when they ride like an idiot, maybe makes them think the next time they try the stupid shit...

  • Conan's ole yellowz lo-per-Oz.

  • Nobody lately....where has everybody gone?

Is this just because i've got fed up of riding through pedestrian heavy hell that is bishopsgate, and instead dart over Tower Bridge these days?

    Where are you all?!

  • I am not sure he liked the bit when I told him "you are a big boy now, you don't need to ride on the pavement".

Excellent. I've used that line many a time and only once did someone (50ish) reply: 'No, I'm still a small boy.'

    Commed.

ha I might use that line in future!

    Please do.

  • @ teenslain, I feel like that sometimes. I try and stay mellow with other cyclists, I remember what its like to cycle around london for the first time, you make mistakes. But if theres one thing that winds me up its cunts who ride up, when youre waiting at lights or whatever, and sit right in front of you.

    1. its fucking rude, pushing in, and
    2. I like to move off pretty quick when its safe to, regardless of light colour.
  • I find shouting loudly and making lots of noise, pretty much guarantees that they see you, although obviously there are still some idiots out there, that will persist in their idiocy regardless.

was it clive? it must have been,it's the sort of thing he would say

  • was it clive? it must have been,it's the sort of thing he would say

I don't think it could have been Clive. That person was taking the piss, which is not something that Clive would ever do. For starters, it would be culturally insensitive towards me.

    Twas Monday evening ;)

  • Yeah - keep up, Rooney.

  • hipster on black vivalo RLJin on brixton road ;)

  • If you use the arrows on Jordanus Hoornstraat one back, youll see the fire engine approaching the intersection and the biker still on his bike!

Its like its been done in freeze frame (which it has)

  • Teensy-weensy black lo-pro, with white deep vee's parked outside the Cat & Mutton on Broadway Market, I've seen you cruising around the area a couple of times, nice ride.
