  • slamm going into Pret for a frapomochiato with extra cream and dusted chocolate sprinkles opposite the john snow this afternoon ;)

His body language in anticipation clearly makes it quite obvious what he's going in for, eh? ;)

  • Hi,

I´m coming to london (staying in Letchworth) for a weeek next saturday and really wanna ride. Any places to buy a cheap single or fixie or borrow or rent or any ideas.

    Jakki

  • arsen_design outside BC while I was on my way to fix some woeful seatpost issues... 14 Bike Co's employee of the month, Chav Aidan, at 14... Rudy was there too... First day on the bike in over a week, felt pretty good... :]

  • Hi Jakki,
I know this has been brought up before, might be a good idea to try searching for "rental bike" in the upper right hand corner.

As far as I know there isn't a place for fixieskidddders, but you can rent a brompton.

  • Loads of young trendies pushing mono-geared bikes up Brick Lane today, sporting deck shoes and wax jackets. Hey the Guinness Book of Lame Cliches called, they want their look back!

  • HillBilly shouting at a stupid car driver on Mere St last night, he obliged me with a caught off guard but still stylish skid.

Hi Ben, did you see my lovely new lo-pro? That was my first lo-pro skid. many thanks for the yell.

  • oliver schick dropping a lot of paper (not in a hip-hop sense)

  • Invited WiganWill to perform a skid at the junction of Bouverie Road and Stoke Newington Church Street at 6ish. He clearly didn't recognize me in a skirt.

  • Good work on recognising him in one, though.

Unfortunately not, my initial glance before I even realised it was you was like "Oh shit, has he seen him", once that was sorted I was able to check out who it was. Next time I'll be sure to prioritise checking the bike over rider safety.

    ;)

    Zing... Repped...

  • chatters, today near Waitrose.

I yelled Do A Skid.. which must've caused him some concern since he was stationary at the lights.

Didn't see you, didn't hear you. I was on the way to pick up my laundry; hence the skirt.

  • Last night outside Edinboro Castle in Camden, guy wearing a Red top and i remember what i think were moustache handlebars and a forum spoke card (red). =/
I shouted do a skid, got a tail skip, but still an attempt worth noting.

Its fine, but you are the first person to ever respond to one of my "Do a Skid!" howls, so kudos to you.

  • Skully up and about this morning far too early for someone who works in meeja in Soho. ;)

  • Me, coming to a skidding stop across two lanes of traffic as my chain fell off and wrapped itself round the rear cog.

Time for a new front cog I think...

Ive had that happen last week in front of a bus. Fortunately the bus driver was nice enough not to ride over me.
