Hells-fucking-yes. She drove me to a shop, I got the frame checked out and we settled it there. I probably should have gone through her insurance but I just couldn't be bothered with the faff. Plus she was well apologetic. Let's just hope she learnt her lesson and we have one more considerate driver on our roads...

Spotted Lolo on Edgware Rd, 2 hours before. I've clearly made it, appearing on the spotted thread and seeing Lolo carrying a spokeless wheel heading south towards Marble Arch

finchley road: hatted hipster on white HHSB with fender, didn't skid on command.
hanover street: balding (i was on top floor of bus!) middle aged man dressed in black on fuji track i think, silver drops
strand: helmetted woman. that is all.

this morning (c. 8.45am) i passed a black guy on some sort of FG contraption with black jumper and messenger bag peering at my ride as i walked it along the pavement on Cambridge Heath Road. not sure if he's on here (and yes, it's a shite description in any case). there were railings in the way so i couldn't see his bike very well, and he probably couldn't see much of mine either. i was arguing in a fake posh accent with my girlfriend at the time.

Suggest that she take cycle training. Works wonders for road awareness even in a car or lorry.
