Nice to see you on 22 (Quiet route) today, Sniffeh. I was late for a private view at an exhibition in Hipster Hoxton, this is why I did not stop for a chat. It was shit anyway, and they'd already ran out of beer when I got there. Honestly Hoxton, why do I bother?
We have to solve the mystery of the Condor(s). The one I'm on about is red, but FILTHY, can just about make out yellow decals, including vertical 'Condor' on the forks as you look at the bike from the front. It is in dire need of a service, and I suspect some irish is using it as a pub bike without knowing its value.
I suggest we lay in ambush one evening! get flxh along too, CPT is a great spy post 6.30-till 7.30. otherwise, we just storm the Castle, guns blazing..... ;)

Who takes a trispoked Condor to the pub and locks it AROUND A TREE?!
He/she must be from the real Dulwich... as in The Village, I mean.....really. pub bike!!!

ninja spotted dammit just off borough high street this evening with the same far off look he had whilst riding on the track day.
whihc means our commute must cross twice a day, what route do you take?
Mornings I go down the A2, Lewisham/Peckham/Camberwell to Oval, then try to go as fast as I can along Kennington Road to Waterloo.
Evenings I normally do the same in reverse, however this time I had to zip home to get the car (burn him!) to pick up camping gear for the weekend.
Odd that you should mention the track- for the first time in ages I felt "strong" whilst riding, really turned the pedals like I meant it down OKR.
If I had had this form at the track I might have done slightly more than exercising my 1000 yard stare!

Actually just coaster brake only, she recently got foot retention already so she can able to control her speed more easily now.
Hmmm. Interesting. I'm coaster brake only, but didn't feel like foot retention was helping my stopping power, instead I got grumpy with the having to change feet at stop lights with my feet being retented.
Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. -

"retented"; I love you Nhatt. The word doesn't exist but it should and I am going to use it from now on :)

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.pretty much a perfect example of having foot retention on coaster, her bike is less a town bike, more of a path racer which she often cane it leaving me in the dust trying to keep up with her (which seemed to happen more and more regularly now much to my annoyance), so having foot retention helped greatly.
I suppose because your bike is more of a dutch-ordinated than a singlespeed racer where you don't really need foot retention, althought those JOL strap seemed pretty handy for the offending crank not being on the retented feet.

Aleksi this morning crossing Rosebury Avenue. Also spotted on Rosebury: grey brakless fixed with a seat stay bridge that looked very similar to a Geekhoose fork. Anyone on here? Nice bike. What is it?

Photoben opposite Carluccio's in Canary Wharf... Lovely to see you, dude, and so, so dapper! Have passed on your details to my friend, Leonie, she remembers you from Trinity/Mirror... Expect a call soon... ;]
Cheers man, and good to see you too. Will be a regular thing now - me in the wharf on a tuesday morning suited and booted. But fuck taking the tube! Anyone got any good suggestions for transporting a suit, shirt and shoes on a bike?

Shirt and shoes survive pretty well in a bag if you fold the shirt well before stuffing it in.
Suit is going to be the issue- can you not leave it at either the office you have to go to or with someone who works in the Wharf?
