  • new model langster, (green) clerkenwell rd about 4.30 with a whatacunt sticker in his wheel. Whos that?

  • Black bike, rider (possible courier) wearing a grey and black striped hoody cycling along Wapping High Street about 2pm today. Anyone here?

  • i saw a lovely maroon bob jackson (being ridden by tallish chap) in queen's rd, heading up to peckham, on tuesday morning.

  • Photoben, Highgate Road on the way home from West End Beers.
Nice to stop and chat....couple of weeks off the bike, start riding again and I'm suddenly spotting loads of people.

  • JOL Just saw a dude on a lovely blue olmo in Rivington Street.

    Who are ya?

That was probarbly me, I was around there today. Didn't remember passing any other fixies, were you without ride?

  • Saw an absolutely gorgeous (and very new looking) orange Bob Jackson with orange tyres and white handlebar tape riding along Lillie road this morning. I said "nice bike", you said "thank you", then you turned off left.

I say it again: nice bike.

  • slamm yesterday evening - Vic, trackstanding at the junction of Farringdon Road & Clerkenwell Road before nipping behind a bus.

    Hello!

Hi! Nobody ever spots me! You should have yelled, it would have been funny/fatal falling off at that awful junction...all those cars whizzing by so close from both directions.

I didn't even see it, and I'm going to say it as well: nice bike.

  • 'hello' to the chap i've followed to and from work several times now, black cannondale with white deep vs and copper hubs (i'm sure i've seen this bike on here somewhere..?), never said hello as i'm a miserable old sod (and shy!).

Followed from before waterloo all the way to oxford street then lost ya!

    hehe, I know.
I was actually on the pavement to your left after nearly being taken out by a driver who decided to jump out of his car and get something from his boot. I had to swerve into opposite lane, then avoid a cyclist coming the other way!

  • brett, good to see ya again.

  • BoBoB 'hello' to the chap i've followed to and from work several times now, black cannondale with white deep vs and copper hubs (i'm sure i've seen this bike on here somewhere..?), never said hello as i'm a miserable old sod (and shy!).

Hello, that was me. You were the guy on the tasty red & yellow Condor right? Was checking out your rear cassette... is that fixed? If so... that's pretty cool cause I'm guessing you can change your ratios without having to get the chain whip out.

Probably see you again soon & will say hi for sure.

Do you go down Peckham polo? I havn't been yet & have no excuse cause I live about 10cm away

  • I saw a tonne of fixeds yesterday, but feel like I've just about sobered up since some point on Wednesday evening.
    Hello to you all.
    Word.

Hello ME! close, it's a Red and yellow Bianchi (Gold Race Team model) It's a fncked up setup, bought the wheels as is with three various cogs attached (i think because the chap didn't have any spacers left!) unfortunately its a freewheeling cassette so no fixed on this one (the IRO is though!). Not a bad hack, It looks more expensive than it is though ;)

Nah haven't been to Polo yet but should, as like you, it's a stones throw away! Have met a couple of guys who have and they said its a reet larf!

Will say hi next time, i've got man flu at the mo so was grumpy this morning after two days off!

No, no, no. That's just my motto for life.
Work on Poland, live off Brick Lane.

Political work, plus a strict diet. What else can a man need to be happy in life?

  • i just saw a big red ribble on knightsbridge - don't suppose it was your addie if you are on Poland. parked up. oh, and a cool ciocc on piccadilly and a couple of london langsters.

If work permits I might go down nxt Wed... might see you there!
Interesting setup, I was still sound asleep this morning but thought it looked like an impressive steed... the sort of bike I'd like to receive on christmas day... all red & shiny!

    Nice ride.

    Not me. Day off/working from home = half-dressed lazy-bones.

Will probably go for a ride in an hour though. No exercise + homemade waffles + day-off = fat, lazy-bones.

  • Nearly a friendly moment with bloke on an Orange and chrome track bike on Columbia Road this morning. You gave my claud butler conversion the once over as you bombed past me, I was going too slow to react or speak. Hi. I was just warming up. I'm not really slow all the time honest.

Its good to look at other bikes and not be ashamed of it. (My girly always thinks I'm checking chicks out but its actually bikes AND chicks...)

  • I wanna know who the woman was I saw this morning walking her bike across Kingsland Road this morning around 9:30. The bike was matte gray with green deep V's. She had a guy with her also riding fixed or free. They were chatting.
I'm actively recruiting for Trixie Chix!
