  • Teenslain north of the river! Gracing me with his presence at my warehouse!

  • And lots and lots of people on bikes. :)

with no lights, wobbling down the inside of the motor vehicles. I was worried with every left turn I made, because in the dark and rain you absolutely cannot see if someone is trying to get down the inside before you turn if they don't have lights,...

  • Skully on his way home, executing a near-perfect trackstand and then beating me to the Foundry.

And me, walking most of the way home, because too drnuk to cycle. Ahem.

  • Yesterday morning/lunchtime as I rolled through Catford from Lewisham, saw an older guy with cropped hair wheeling a bright/sludge green conversion by the poor quality italian furniture shop. Looked at me, I think I had my screw face on due to being cut up by a wanker in a Merc. I love coming back to London roads, though a damn sight better than Serbian drivers.

  • teastain on Hawley street /ktr looking for Any Winehouse

  • Did any of you female forumengers show a guy to Waterloo station yesterday?

Yellow bike with spokecards apparently. My mate, who has never cycled in london before, told me that a very nice fix lady took him from Euston to Waterloo when he asked about directions. He has longish hair. Lovely gesture I thought, sounds like someone from here.

  • Speaking of female riders, anyone on here blonde with upside down risers, no grips, no plugs? You've been to BC twice, but I've been out of it, thanks to being ill.
    I'm guessing your on here.

Told me he was outside London eye with a bunch of french exchange students, crossed the road and they all "blindly followed him" like tourist lemmings accross the road. A guy riding fixed shouted at them all for walking out infront using swear words.

My mate shouted "do a skid" afterwards. Was sorry abouth the kids, they don't teach you the green cross code abroad

"I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailleur? We are getting soft... As for me, give me a fixed gear!" --Henri Desgrange, 1902
