  • d0cA spotted - the brick:

    Ha Ha! Cool cartoon!

  • guy last night on kingsland road by the mosque, flew past me on a white Dolan Track with Wing TT forks.

  • jonny and skoota spotted drinking in herne hill. strangely there were four bikes locked up outside... I would have popped in, but I can be a right anti social bastard sometimes.

  • White arrospok heading north over Southwark bridge @ 7.45am.
Couldn't make out any details of bike or rider, was too dazzled by the extreme whiteness of the whirling blades (even at 50yds)

  • snowy_again jonny and skoota spotted drinking in herne hill. strangely there were four bikes locked up outside... I would have popped in, but I can be a right anti social bastard sometimes.

jonny and skoota ride two bikes each simultaneously. You'll all be doing it soon.
We gave you a half arsed shout but you wandered past anyway....

  • I saw a mountain bike on North End Road on Saturday arvo rocking front and back arrospok.
The bike looked pretty average, but I know fnck-all about mountain bikes and I was already pretty belted.

  • Prav right close to my flat this AM. Infact, he spotted me - much more on the ball. Westside represent!

(He got the full glory of the Assos winter tights - ew!)

  • Ooh, fancy!

  • Nice legs mouse.. I think you looked very dashing in mainly black with rapha pink accents to 'cap' it off!
You looked to be in a hurry - did you make it to work for 0900 hrs?

  • A surprisingly lovely racing green decal-less something or other with a brown brooks and what looked like cork grips. WLaking down Poland St as I was coming back with some lunch.

And a girl this morning. Yes, a girl on a bike. Something beginning with 'M' with a distincly red & blue vibe going. She was happily trackstanding at the lights by Holborn while I slumped over top-tube and bars wondering when I'd actually wake up.

    Either of you/them here?

  • Clefty... handing me Spoke cards this morning. Cheers!

    and

A tired (or grumpy, but I prefer tired) looking courier girl in Tesco's on Bethnal green road... I thought I should say hello but that seemed a little random.
Can you justifiably start a conversation if bike shoes are your only reason for saying hi?

  • Rather nice little red cannondale, black forks, risers, phil hubs, parked outside Brixton Tesco just now.
Think I spotted the owner inside but couldn't be sure and anyway, I had a hot apple crumble to get back to at home :)

There was another SS parked out there as well but it had me bit puzzled - it was a Specialised Specialized cross frame by all appearances, chunky tyres, cantilever brakes and wide clearances, but with track ends. Didn't look like it was built that way but then again didn't look like a conversion.

not really there are so many people who wear them it's like talking to someone because they are wearing a hat

you could only get away with it if your witty, charming or have an actual question

  • Guy on stripped bianchi pista riding over denmark hill at about 8.30 this morning. see him regularly and his bike looks nearly identical to mine with risers n all had to double take first time.

Tricross Singlespeed? Seen one in Brixton Cycles.

  • Singlecross.

That M was a C, and I now recognise the bike as belonging to one Roxy. Hurrah! The first one of you buggers I've actually spotted for sure. Now to start a conversation… (Well that rules out morning meetings then. Gosh can I be a grumpy sod then…)

  • Whoever that was on the Charge Plug this morning smacking the bonnet of the X5 as the driver muscled into the traffic on Old St... I had a great view of the faces inside as they changed from smug thug mugs into homicidal pig eyed sneers. I think you spoiled their morning but you sure made mine.
