Lots of oldies at HH today, slowly making their way round the track, grumbling to themselves that 10 laps is too much.

I brokered that deal actually... ;p
Major score was mine, 28t Stronglight polo cranks for £2... Skoota was in tears...
Lovely, mellow post-Nocturne vibes... Thanks all... :] -

Gizmond is delighted with another bike jumble bargain..

Lovely, mellow post-Nocturne vibes... Thanks all... :]Bollocks, I got a sausage and pickle sandwich for a quid.
Also spotted hellomiles and friends - sorry i didn't stop to chat longer, had rehearsals to go to.
Also, me, skoota and hovis brown watched possibly the weirdest race ever to take place at Herne Hill: 2 trackies, a guy on a lovely geared bike, a mountain bike, and a toddler on a tiny little bike with stabilisers. From what we could tell, the toddler smoked the lot of them.
Which one of you was riding the blue and yello bob jackson on old street on...friday evening (I think)? Nice to meet you! Sorry I was in a rush to get to my mate's show on brick lane.
Also, I believe I spotted Crispin Glover, during a hairy manoeuvre at the hackney road/mare street junction due to dozily weaving between cars as they slowed down for the lights.. ended up on the right hand side when I wanted to turn left, duhh. I was on my way to pick up the NJS frame from armourtex. hey!

Bollocks, I got a LIVER sausage and MUSTARD pickle sandwich for a quid.
Fixed... Great sandwich, Jan is a magician, my fellow spectators didn't seem to agree... WTF?!? Have you never eaten fegato alla salvia, food of the Gods...

Ha! First. Spotted. Ever.
It was the first time on the track for all but one of us and was incredibly fun.

You should have said hello, that was the Cambridge Fixed boys we all met you at the Cambridge rollapallooza, that's me on a rare occasion i was in front in your pic in a light blue shirt on a pre-war chater lea track bike. Mr Savage was very patient with us and does a very nicely structured session . Hayden used to ride in Vancover velodrome and was obviously at home but suffering from a heavy night before.
I snapped my seat post bolt just before we went on but managed to borrow a bolt off the fencing surrounding the track which worked perfectly.
Made a change from polo on Sunday . -

Hello to the chap walking his silver Vivalo on Regent Street. I love the leopard print undercut hairdo you are rocking. I was going to say hello but my girlfriend's arrival was imminent.
Hello to the four people lazily riding along on Great Marlborough Street, my shout of "multiple do a skid" seemed to have fallen on deaf ears.
Also hello to the girl on the blue/purple Peugeot I overtook on Clerkenwell/Theobald/Old street (I can't actually remember which bit of the road I was on when I went past). I was going to slow and say I liked your bike but I was in the middle of a tube versus bike race and I always get lost when going to Liverpool Street.

oh and spotted last night around 8pm, just off Acre lane / King's Avenue, someone who recognised me, who I only looked at very briefly, long, dark, curly hair, dark cycling cap / clothes / bike, with a woman rider as well I think; I think you were at Souths, otherwise you were waving at someone you er, didn't know!

What?? Was that a guess or can you actually read my mind?! :) There's a lovely Casati in there with full Dura-Ace at the mo. Think it's a bit too small for me though. Not that it matters or anything. My lady would actually kill me if I bought it. Or that Moser that Retro_di_Corsa's selling at the mo (the top one).
Too.much.temptation! Must.stop.forumenging!
Good to see you too, Stix. Stay strong. The right bars are out there somewhere. Persevere!
some bloke on a gun metal affinity lopro at the top end of brick lane 1pm ish. i met you at trix a while ago but couldnt remember your name. Then a little later that beautifully restored blue/white striped mercian near hackney farm.
