Twas I. Sorry - I did think 'is that jimbilly's missus?' after I passed but I was in too much of a rush to get to work to slow down and say hi. Belated hi!

  • heh. no worries, i am very slow most mornings & mostly asleep until around 11, so i can't imagine i would have been fascinating conversation! haha.

  • Last night in Bexley Village young guy on a yellow fixed with risers and no brakes as I was on my way home from work.

  • shouted 'do a skid' at someone on an orange fixed with what looked a blue campag hat on going clockwise round Regent's Park. It must have sounded like a roadie insult, as I'm afraid you looked shocked.

  • Some fat guy pottering along on a low, low-pro that made him look like a gorilla, with his knuckles scraping on the floor.

    Made me giggle.

  • London's trendy Teenslain on Goldsmith's Row this morning. I was on my phone & shouted 'do a skid' (much to the consternation of my caller). Did you oblige? Did you fuck.

I did actually, you must be blind... Was on my way to meet rocksteady, first time I've ever been down Broadway Market, can't see what the fuss is all about...

  • Sorry, I actually just remembered doing this when some 'do a skid'ed me on Kingsland Road a minute ago. I thought I'd come and check there hadn't been a serious mishap. If I hazily remember rightly it made an awful enough sound for me to immediately shout an apology. Well sorry again.

God though, cracking a chain link!

    he he,

No, no need to apologise, i just thought it was funny that my first "do a skid" holler had such disastrous results.

    Hi anyway.

I apologise. I saw numerous fixed gear bikes round there - they seem to be quite popular in Hackney.

  • Last night in Bexley Village young guy on a yellow fixed with risers and no brakes as I was on my way home from work.

Not me but have been wondering if I'm the only gearless rider in the borough. Rode randomly all over Welling, Falconwood, Avery Hill, Sidcup, Foots Cray, Albany Park, Bexley and Bexleyheath earlier and did not spot a soul although I have very briefly espied a SS rider heading along Park View Road on a couple of occassions.

  • on the way to meet up with social amnesia, dude with lemond being very patient with jabroni spring time rider who didn't stop when seeing geared rider and then jumped the sidewalk and still cut him off further down the road - then spring time jabroni arguement with taxi driver who policed him on it was hilarious
and the dude on the lush as fuck black bob jackson lo pro / or time trial conversion - sweet

  • did not spot a soul

You can't spot souls. They're invisible. This leads some people to think that they don't exist. Still, that only makes spotting them all the more challenging.
