Tis an awesome frame, although I didn't play 'chasey', I played slipstream from New Cross to Queens Road followed by overtakey.
Almost as fast as Bendix.
never played chasey or overtakey with bendix but it sounds like those wee legs o mine could peddle faster...

Hiya Yap. I was on a green conversion with bullhorns. Black jacket, the dude who shat himself everytime the crowd was forced back by the fuzz. Looked like you were enjoying yourself.

I need to see this legendary BendixGoinLikeTheClappers™ phenomenon... I hear it's quite something, like shit off a shovel was one expression being bandied around by a forlorn forumenger... Impressive... ;]

Courier looking type (or fakenger with a radio :p) on the roundabout outside the Fox pub on Green Lanes (palmers green) last night - sorry for the delayed reaction on the nod, I was so busy alternating between scoping out your rear wheel to see if you were fixed (and being surprised to see you were) and watching the upcoming roundabout. Nice wheels mate.
Further apologies to the guy who I was staring at locking his bike up opposite Nationwide in Palmers Green. You rode on the right hand side of the road past all the roadworks at the north circular junction while I sat there like a twat behind a bus, but caught you up at the lights in Palmers Green - not really with it due to a stupidly long ride the night before and very little sleep so sorry about that.
Also hello to the freewheeling langster girl coming down Bush Hill a few days ago and a guy with (I think red) deep vs going through Enfield town. Surprised to see people riding fixed/ss that far out, but good nonetheless. Hope to see you again on the road some time soon.

PinkGottiMobs locking up outside the Kings Arms/Head (why can I still not remember the name of this pub?) on Tooley Street. I got really confused and thought it was Tuesday (SE Beers) and stopped paying attention to the road and nearly crashed into a gigantic pothole. Fun times.

Hey, I'm usually sober when I Get there.
Nice LCC spoke cards btw. Though tell Charlie they need to do some that match the colour scheme of my bike next time.

That may have been me ('cept I don't have stickers - but I do have spoke cards). Were you on a newish, blueish Pearson?

Oh, and bloke this morning on a yellow Dave Russell, crossing TCR into Oxford Street, riding singlespeed and brakeless. I couldn't believe it. When he needed to slow down, he was sticking one leg out behind him and rubbing his shoe against the wheel. He turned off into Soho Square, just as I was on the point of telling him that there's an Evans right there in Rathbone Place, and he really should get some brakes on that thing, pronto.
I spent the rest of the morning thinking whaaaaaaat?
And I'm beginning to wonder - do some people just not get the idea of fixed? I feel pretty comfortable riding brakeless if I don't have a freewheel, but when I try to explain it to a layperson, they still end up looking slightly alarmed (because I'm crap at explaining things). Do you think this guy has somehow missed the point, and assumed that people riding brakeless are even more hardcore/stupid than they actually are, because no one's told him how a fixed wheel works? Hmm?
