  • Skully, this morning, giving rather sage advice to his lil son: 'if you don't pedal, then you must stay upright, ok?'

Sorry for the dazed reply, I had no idea it was you until you said morning to me! (It was you, right? No one else I know lives round there and has a child....)

  • Fair haired dude with beard and red courierbag, on white frame, fixed. Holland Park roundabout about 8:15 this morning, you were heading down towards Holland Park and i was doing the earls court road.

    Howdy.

oh You got Red Schwalbe's front and back?

I've got blue Schwabe's, red V's, & red Keo pedals, everything else is black (for the moment). There was a guy at the lights on a seriously lo-pro brakeless beater in camo pants, obviously not you now I know what you ride. Give us a shout if you see us again, I'll keep my eyes peeled.

  • Was doing battle with the buses and hectic roadworks round there at the mo....off to Cavendish....or might have been goin home via Cov Garden, Waterloo Bridge
Didn't see you mate, were you on a bike or foot?

I was straddling my bike whilst texting...outside that posh old umbrella shop on the corner....was about to shout you but then had a spaz moment as i didn't know whether to shout "oi, pistanator" or "oi, graham"...:)
by the time i decided to just shout "oi oi" you'd gone so i got back to my text :)

  • Spotted - A very lovely lady by the ped crossing at Hammersmith roundabout, she waited and gestured me to go first, in return i thanked her and she looked up smiled and said "pleasure"

  • Nobody yet again :(
Actually not true as I did spot a dayglo clad lady riding a white framed bike across Kidbrooke Park Road and towards Blackheath a couple of hours ago. Probably not a forumite given the complete

  • Spotted: What we thought was Saytanic1 last night going past the John Snow at around 8.30ish. I yelled do a skid. you didn't.

  • someone on a red frame crossing with a young girl sitting on the handlebars near the back of tesco in hackney, about 16.00. you had a memorial card in the back wheel.

  • Whilst out on the lunchtime roll: Three guys at 14 who we then saw at the Cat & Mutten after popping over to TdV

Also, sitting on the table over from us was Shane Horgan

Unsurprisingly, nobody else cared.. I was beside myself though

  • well you were beside me as I remember.. but yeah noone cared...ah, the subtleties of the fame game ;)

  • haha

Fame is indeed a fickle mistress but I'm sure if you asked him he wouldn't call himself famous.. Rugby players rarely are and the ones like Danny Cipriani and Gavin Henson who get column inches in rags are generally looked down upon..

Have a good time back home Phil

  • spotted two guys who's names I cant remember who were just arriving in Brighton after riding fixed from London.
