If it's business related, why not? Only problem is you have to pay for it to then claim the deduction.*
*i ain't no accountant!

we could do it like an arrospok annonymous meeting -
"hello, my names wayne and i have a problem with bikes"
-
• #1154
Print out the names & faces thread :)
You'll know me - coz I remember you and will be the drunk and annoying aussie fscker calling you "bag hag" or similar all night :P
wayne is also easily recognised - his pink gimp mask is totally unique in nodnol.
murtle will be the only one to crash on the rollers
dogsballs will be walking around with a pda constantly checking his most recent 36 ebay auctions
aidan will be the guy frowning
slamm will be taking so many photos you wont actually see his face, just a camera
jonny will be surrounded by no less than 3 women all night
winspar will be tending to the rollers
rpm will be working security
jos will be beating everyone or exhibiting gorgeous bikes i'm not sure which
bmmf will be the guy near the stairs.. not standing on them but walking up them and down and then up..i could go on (and probably will but have pasta to attend to)

Someone shouted me today as I was locking the bike outside Magma.
Who was it?
White bike. Fair beard, & 'Metro' tights I think.
Can't be many here who work for Metro!
Cheered me up a treat! ;-) -

Hehe, but you forget, Scott knows me. At some point we'll no doubt relive the last 30 miles or so of Dunwich… good times! :-P

Someone's black Soma (purple decals?) with narrow flat bars, mks+clips+straps; locked, but knocked over and sprawled across the pavement on Upper St on Friday lunchtime (near the post office).
I picked it up and leant it back against the post - can't bear to see bikes in distress.

Flatlander, I've got your cap.
Your balancing sleep balancing skills aren't quite Jedi status yet.

eek-a-Mouse Again last night about 19:30: nice red ribble with nitto drops and zero clearance on the front forks (brakeless)
Hurrah, 'tis me! (Not actually a Ribble, apparently, but the stickers were on there from the last owner.)
eek-a-Mouse parked up by Berwick St (spitting distance from the John Snow).
"Parked". Sometimes I eve ride the thing... And since I work on Poland St & my lady works on Newburgh, I find it surprising how rarely I see y'all. Other than when your steeds are all shackled outside the Snow. But then there's too many & it's just overwhelming.
And though I wasn't on the beastie: Hello!

Nice Geoffrey Butler fixed conversion at Oxford circus.
A fixed Airnimal folding bike track standing at the junction of Farringdon Road and Charterhouse Street, then again parked up outside the BBC studios by Langham Street.

Hey illy, did you see the Wilier parked near work today? The bright red Wilier track that's usually locked there with the Knogg lights still attached.
Today, the dude/dudette had even managed to leave the fscking lights flashing!! He/she must have it insured! Muppet or Genius? You decide. -
• #1173
Nah, didn't go outside today :(
Awesome stuff though, did you take the batteries out for him?
-
• #1174
Nah, I feel 'odd' touching someone else's bike. Always paranoid I'll be messing with it when they return. I left it and was surprised to find it still flashing when I left (earlier than usual to ride RP).

Maybe the solution to your concern about getting your bike nicked is simply to park it next to his?
You can claim train travel as a business expense :)
