think of it as mutual respect. he probably thought you looked like a serious cyclist so were used to riding in a group. either that or he thought you were a cunt, you just didn't hear him call you one as he went past.

just push them off.
nobody ever seems to overtake me (unless it's RP on a saturday) maybe it's because I ride very far out in the road and break wind constantly

spotted the infamous pink 3rensho and rider, about 10 minutes ago coming to the junction of grays inn rd/ clerkenwell rd. i was on foot, and a bit dazed other wise you would have heard "do a skid!".

Guy on a ss Holdsworth going from Brixton to Kennington to who I pointed out that the cam needed flipping down on the rear brake - nice of you to say thanks at the next lights (and glad the brake actually works now!).
What was less nice are the tarmac ravines of death that are appearing outside Waterloo station on a daily basis...

amen to that, I've been trapped in one of them for about 3 days.
That sounds remarkably similar to my commute... If only I actually ever commuted anywhere. I normally never leave the house before midday either.

Spotted: Marcus, flying past New Bronx Gate station - morning, Sir!
Also spotted- me having a big fncken stack this morning on the Chelsea Embankment, near Lots Road (at some speed). The cars run right in the gutter there anyway, so I am normally ready for it, but a car pushed me wide onto the newly painted double red lines (on the newly laid road bit), and my front wheel just slipped all over the place. I ended up on my anus (well - elbow, hip and shoulder) about 6 inches from the car in front of me's bumper. Fncken hell, if he wasn't concentrating, I would have been cactus. Scared the fnck out of me.
Lost a fair bit of bark, and I'm sore as fuck.
Don't ride near those red lines on the Embankment, if you can avoid it. (Captain Obvious, I know.)
Dude, I ride through there every day, thanks for the warning! What bike do you ride?
