  • Some dude on a red frame half wheeling onm the inside me along lambeth road this morning and then shouting at me when i moved to avoid one of the lovely new potholes - pull the fuck back or overtake dipshit

    WATC.

I grunted last night when one of the serrotta riding, cyclefit kit wearing punks over took me at speed and way too close for my liking. just like fucking dynorod do in RP.

he may be used to riding at close proximity, but I ain't. I tried to catch up to ave a word, but sheesh this fella was quick!

think of it as mutual respect. he probably thought you looked like a serious cyclist so were used to riding in a group. either that or he thought you were a cunt, you just didn't hear him call you one as he went past.

  • just push them off.

nobody ever seems to overtake me (unless it's RP on a saturday) maybe it's because I ride very far out in the road and break wind constantly

  • spotted the infamous pink 3rensho and rider, about 10 minutes ago coming to the junction of grays inn rd/ clerkenwell rd. i was on foot, and a bit dazed other wise you would have heard "do a skid!".

    i'll take the former...

  • Guy on a ss Holdsworth going from Brixton to Kennington to who I pointed out that the cam needed flipping down on the rear brake - nice of you to say thanks at the next lights (and glad the brake actually works now!).

What was less nice are the tarmac ravines of death that are appearing outside Waterloo station on a daily basis...

amen to that, I've been trapped in one of them for about 3 days.

That sounds remarkably similar to my commute... If only I actually ever commuted anywhere. I normally never leave the house before midday either.

Herne Hill to Holborn, rain or shine (not snow though, f that)

  • loughborough road to either holborn or charing x road... what kinda bike you ride? If I ever leave the house at a sensible time I'll keep an eye out!

  • Spotted: Marcus, flying past New Bronx Gate station - morning, Sir!

Also spotted- me having a big fncken stack this morning on the Chelsea Embankment, near Lots Road (at some speed). The cars run right in the gutter there anyway, so I am normally ready for it, but a car pushed me wide onto the newly painted double red lines (on the newly laid road bit), and my front wheel just slipped all over the place. I ended up on my anus (well - elbow, hip and shoulder) about 6 inches from the car in front of me's bumper. Fncken hell, if he wasn't concentrating, I would have been cactus. Scared the fnck out of me.

Lost a fair bit of bark, and I'm sore as fuck.

Don't ride near those red lines on the Embankment, if you can avoid it. (Captain Obvious, I know.)

Dude, I ride through there every day, thanks for the warning! What bike do you ride?

  • A big creamy bob jackson. you?

  • A big creamy bob johnson

    ooh err!

  • bob johnson - that could stick.

  • Guy on a dope red Chessini with crazy 100mph friend (Had brakes), overtook me whilst I waited at lights outside Foundry, finally caught you on Clerkenwell. Will have to come for a spin next tuesday. (I was on the lo-pro)

  • someones fixie locked up in the court yard at home.

  • no-one, at 7.05 pm at trafalgar square last night!

That's what you get for being late! They left just after 7, I hung around for a few minutes to meet a friend.

  • The Archangel Jacqui coming to my rescue on Old Street, thanks love x

  • Gus on shacklewell..... GUS! GUS!.

  • oh and a dude who lives in my front building ground floor, dark green conversion nitto drops. Shacklewell lane too.

  • Gus was in dopey mode looking for where the call was coming from...needs to clear out his ears and sharpen up his eyes...

  • big time... i caught you with a glance over my shoulder. glance safe.

hippy is about a 8.7... more allusive now without the cunster.
