  • Aftermath of a roadie/ped collision on Wellington Street tonight. A courier on a pink fixed seemed to be helping out, hope both parties were ok (last I saw both were up ok, but the Cervelo looked mashed and the ped was trying to flee without giving details) :s

  • kept this bike indoors mostly and 1st time riding it aswell for the past month . . .

You lie! I saw it locked up on Duke Street yesterday, or perhaps the day before.

(Am not stalking you or anything. Just your bike.)

  • how many em / ems / emilies / emilia's do we have on this website

can we have a sound off please

    sticks hand up

Are there too many of us? Shall I change my username? I'm getting a bit bored with it anyway, and people get all confused when I tell them it's not my real name.

Aaargh - now I feel stalked! Serves me right.

Ped was a woman, she started hurrying away down the street while the roadie was a picking bits of his bike up off the ground. Think he ran after her in the end, I heard him shouting for her name and address loud enough for half of Covent Garden to stop in silence and look.

  • Person in leather jacket on the Old Kent road opposite Carpet Right Struggling to put the chain back on a black Unipak with red wheels at 9.15am in the pissing down rain with greasy cold to the bone bare fingertips. I felt for you but not enough to lend you my gloves

  • Guy with yellow cap, headphones, big curly hair, green jumper and drop bars (didn't get the bike) on Hackney road this morning at about 8.30 jumping the lights. Good luck mate.

  • I witnessed one profound incident of stupidity this morning, and another of far less magnitude, both from fixed gear riders.

One was the dude on a Genesis flyer, trying to undertake a HGV as it turned left into Golden Lane from Clerkenwell Road. When he realised that the lorry was blocking his path onwards and he was about to get crushed, he hopped on the pavement then tried to beat the lorry round the corner, and whizzed in front of it about 2 metres into Golden Lane. In light of recent events.... cheesus, I don't know, the lorry was absolutely not at fault - on the basis of the cyclist's behaviour, we need a campaign to stop morons from breeding.

The other minor incident was a dude on a grey bike/blue rims who insisted on tailing me round Old St roundabout about 9 inches from my back wheel. If I had skip-stopped (oh thank you new light gearing for making this so much easier!), you would have faceplanted.

    I am dismayed. [/rant]

  • Nice old geared british racing green mercian with purple anodised riser bars..... ouch.

  • Guy on the white, green and red frame who I was stalking from Lower Road to Duke Street Hill, hai if you're on here

  • Girl on a Lemond on Theobalds/Clerkenwell Road last night around 7.30. You were very polite with your greeting....I was lost in music.

  • Nice old geared british racing green mercian with purple anodised riser bars..... ouch.

    Aaaaaaaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

  • Oh that is wrong Senor Slain. Very. Wrong.

  • Guy on the white, green and red frame who I was stalking from Lower Road to Duke Street Hill, hai if you're on here

think that might have been me sorry for being so antisocial, i'll say hello next time.

Was it a short haired bloke on a singlespeed Genesis Flyer with risers and no rear brake?

If so I think I know who you mean - I was trying to stay out of his way all the way along Clerkenwell road - he struck me as a bit of a danger.

Were you the lady on the other Flyer? if so - Hello!

  • think that might have been me sorry for being so antisocial, i'll say hello next time.

Hurrah! My first successful spot. Don't worry about being antisocial, I never say hi to anyone, I just post about them on the internet later.

  • Hehe, that was me! I like that road - but it really helps if you get a good run through the lights at Queenstown road coming up the hill rather than having to start static...Howdy!

Next time I'll say hello, but I was racing the guy on the red Pearson and I could barely breathe let alone talk! I was doing my best to look cool, calm and collected, as though it was no effort at all...

Short haired yes, but I thought he was fixed. Maybe I just didn't see him coast. 'A bit of a danger', hahah. Quite.

But that was not me, I have a little holographic dark grey bike with pink saddle and grips. Hello anyway though.

You mean from Old St. [/incensed local]

Rider sounds like a fucking idiot though.

Yeah I'd had a mini "not-race" with him as well. I'm such a fricking fluoro-nodder...
