Long story short... Got a call from my old singer that our band had got name-checked on the liner notes of Homework, I thought 'Wow!' interesting, but probably a wind up... Rang up the record co and got a copy of the record (I was runnin' a fanzine at the time so free music on request), turned out he wasn't lying, I loved the record... Story was they were fans of ours back in the day, our singer seemed to know more about it than I did... Forgot all about it... Then one day a coupla years ago we were having a band get-together in the pub and I asked how come I didn't remember these guys, all the mail came to my address so how come I've no recollection of them?!? Turns out I threw all their fan mail away the minute it arrived... What a knob! I have no recollection whatsoever of this... Crazy times... :]
