shouldn't that be 'steal my free bike' ;) a couple of the £6 wall mounted bike holder/storage thing may have to be bought to tidy up the garage!

Idea: plastic 'fake' locks.. light so you can carry 50 of them and totally cover your bike with them :)
I'm sure that's what the ALDI ones are anyway ;-) -

wow, never heard of aldi before.. is this a bit like Lidl?
-
• #7

its probably my favourite supermarket ever.

I'm sure that's what the ALDI ones are anyway ;-)If you don't like carrying around a 30lb bike lock on your 12lb uberlight carbon bike, you can always invest in three or four decent locks and leave them locked up around London, so you don't have to carry them - or hire a slave to run alongside carrying your lock.

The slave option sounds better.

eeehhhh The slave option sounds better.
you're rich!
-
• #13
nah, a slave by definition wouldn't really cost you much. cheaper than having a dog!
-
• #14
...no. more expensive, costs more to feed and house..
-
• #15
but by definition a slave is not someone you treat humanly. you can lock him up outside and feed him only tesco value baked beans, cheaper than having a dog for sure now?
-
• #16
no way is it cheaper.
i'll take a dog anyday.
run faster for longer, too.
-
• #17
also, slave-owning is not politically correct ...
-
• #18
my slave could live in the mouldy seller but i think he would get rickets
-
• #19
Is the mouldy cellar was loaded with booze?
Contemplating a change of career.. -

ALDI is german tightareness at it's finest ;)

Random fact: In new england in the slavery days it was illegal to feed your slaves lobster more than 5 nights a week. I wouldn't mind being one of those slaves.
-
• #22
you're all goingto regret not going when it gets f**king cold and you buy it at 3x the price from evans
mark my words ...!
-
• #23
oh I definitely will.. I wish I could've bought one!

It might have been illegal, but I cant imagine it happened too often...

Prob did- N.E. is big lobster town. v. cheap in the old days- cos they were abundant.
So it makes sense- and more than 5 lobsters in a week would fuck you up big time.
Hey friends, just went to ALDI, they've got some nice cycling stuff in there!!
Ok, a lot of it is reflecto building-site worker stuff, but some of it is worth it, like this black cycling jacket for only £14.99! And also, overshoes for £4.99.
Can't go wrong...
