• cornelius here posting as mashton weathers looking good suns out and looks like we'll be on track in an hour. Pull fingers out and head down

  • i'm going to head up in a min, i'm not racing may bring a camera if i can be arsed.

  • On my way

  • I'm on my way now.

  • The racing's off. Track not dry enough. Few people hanging around though.

  • rain stops play

  • just went down, bunch of old dudes selling rusty parts that was it.

  • Oh my head. Glad I didn't miss any racing. Excuse me while I go and lie down.

  • shame as there were about 30 odd people there I reckon. Everyone went to the pub in Brockwell Pk.

  • damn shame it didn't go down!
glad I made it anyways, good to recognize some faces (arrogah, bmmf, hillbilly) and meet some new ones.
lucky7- good ride down, enjoy that hill?
Pkmpirate- cheers for doin the lunch run, pasty hit the spot.
chris crash- 4th of July- let's blow some shit up!

  • any chance of a re schedule?
In a couple of weeks I'll be happy to try organising it.

  • the chips were nice

  • pisser about the rain, the weateher turned out to be not to bad, ust not enough time for the track to dry out so we could get the race programme in, teen_slain (joe) is gonna reschedule, just not quite sure when. Good turnout despite the inclement weather to begin with, probably 20-30. Hopefully with good weather we'll have at least 50 out.
Keep your eyes peeled for the new date

  • the chips were nice

Mayo, brown sauce or red sauce?

  • nothing. not even salt and vinigar. but i did have a squeeze of a lemon that came with the parsley 'vegetarian' side salad.

  • Lemon hey. You and your fancy west London ways.

  • on my way back, I think I was accosted by a wild man, resembling the hillbilly, at the water lane/effra road junction.

the memory is blurred, but discomforting.

  • ^^ I was a little afraid of being eaten too but then realised it was just a bit of Hillbilly love.
    Cheers for the company RPM

  • hi there good to see all the fellas out anyways....thanks..m

  • thats all photos i have got for today......

  • Bummer that, wasn't it? :(
Still a great turn out although the weather put a lot of riders off... I've been in touch with Peter at Herne Hill, I'll get a list of available Sundays then put up a poll... I'll also trawl the web and see if I can find which days have been the driest, statistically, over the years...
Great to meet loads more forumengers!
This WILL happen and it WILL be awsome... :)

  • nice one joe, cheers for all your hard work dude. nothing can be done about the weather. and the G-plan worked out nicely ;)

  • it's also given me a chance to order my 14th cog and new tyres so I have no excuses about being in the wrong gear for the race

  • If you have 13 other cogs, you must have had the right ratio already? no?

    ;)

  • Good day yesterday, nice meeting more people from the forum.
Crankenstein @ yes, it was a good ride down. I think I am still recovering from the speed you went up the hill!
Btw, there was no damage done, after trying to ride flickwigs bike!
