Looks like a Bern Watts to me.
Maybe with padding removed for extra slim fit.

Bern helmets are a cool shape. I painted my girlfriend's cream with red stripes, like an old moped helmet. Mine is currently black but will be dark silver with twin matt black stripes with metallic purple metallic lace over the stripes, and lime green pinstripe around the stripes (yeah, I like to paint stuff).
You've gotta be careful what kind of paint you use on what material though. Water based will be fine on anything, but you need to shoot it with a compressor/gun or an electric gun system (£££) and the paint is about £30 a litre. Rattlecans and other solvent-based paints are alright on hard shells such as BMX/skate helmets (so long as you mask off the polystyrene, because it will melt this) but not on microshell helmets like on racing bikes as the microshell is lexan and will dissolve.

i'm not sure what you mean? the bars correspond to the axis on the left, the line to the axis on the right.

Actually, i am looking for a helmet at the moment but i want one with a visor like the Casco track helmet style or the motor bike style helmets

But i am not going to pay +/- £200 for a helmet i know im going to break cause of my antics...
I need body armour as well... (im only saying this in the bike radar thread cause i know no one reads this)

what the hell, what kind of riding are you gonna do wearing a casco and body armour?

I have a £200 helmet and its light and airy. spend some more folks its worth it.

well, i like the styling on the 200 quid helmet, not the price. The body armour i actually mean elbow/ knee pads and gloves cauuse i have a tendancy to fall over and hurt myself.... [/dumb]

I saw a guy wearing a body armour (and nothing over it. Aren't you supposed to wear like an ice hockey style mtb shirt over it?) the other day just past southwark bridge. Massive fella as well.

There is a chap near me I see over the forest wearing full face helmet and goggles, all over body armor and carbon knuckle gloves. The forest is flat and grassy.

It's the fear.
I'm off skiing at the end of the month... and if you want to see a helmet debate, there's one that's raging.
The whole pastime has gone from virtually zero helmets to 60% > 80% helmets in 12 months thanks to some actress or other falling over on a green slope and dying.
Yet statistically skiing is even safer than cycling with a lower number of fatalities per year for the number of participants per million.
It's also an area in which the helmet debate is an immature one... here we all have counter-arguments, skiers seem to face the religiousness of the pro-helmet brigade reasonably ill-equipped.

Here's the weird thing - I would never consider wearing a helmet while skiing, but would not go without one when snowboarding.
For me it comes down to the likelihood of landing on my head - This has never happened in 30+ years of skiing, but happens every few days of boarding.

I totally agree.

CB - is the helmet armour for off road use or on road? Former fine, latter you are doing it all wrong.

Absolutely.
My opinion too.
We're not going with helmets, but the religious evangelism of helmets by almost everyone we've spoked to is really winding me up.

I'm off skiing on Saturday. No helmet.
Definitely goggles though. I took sunglasses earlier in the year and couldn't see anything on the second day :(

Iain you just need to get some more drunk cycling skill and you'll be fine, get some practice later!
-

Ummmmm, only works if you dont damage yourself to much where any cycling becomes an issue. Plus i want to look like RoboCop!
