I work at cyclechic.co.uk have a look there at the Yakkay helmets, let me know what you think. Personally I'm not so into them, they don't have good enough ventilation.

*picture it... little girls looking up at mummy..lips quivering, eyes wet... 'Mummy, where's daddy?'
'well girls, daddy wanted to wear his really cool Rapha cap into work this morning......'
No shame, helmets are good IMO -

isn't this the point where some fuckwit chimes in and says that they don't make any difference and actually make you ride less safely so that's why they don't have to wear one and they're not just being childish at all?
-
• #1860
if you want to wear a helmet just wear one, why the need to debate about it?

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24917 is the one to get...
Jayloo and I have been discussing just getting over it and wearing helmets, as neither of us wants to be married to a drooling brain damaged poop machine (I think I've already achieved this status) I got hit by a car a few months ago and, touch wood, came out nearly unscathed. I flew over the bonnet of the car and could have easily landed on my noggin and.....who knows?
Anyway, I hate the way most helmets make you look like some sort of cyber dork or your about to ride on the short bus. Someone had posted a link ages ago to some helmets that actually looked like normal hats, They were pricey but looked interesting. I cant seem to find that thread anywhere. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
