Some well needed advice for a first time lady riding fixed?

When I first started riding fixed I found that when I went to bed it felt as if my legs were still going round. It's pretty tough, and when you go off a curb or round a corner you have to time it perfectly so you don't knock the pedals.

Also, if you try riding a freewheel again now, it's gonna feel weird because of the circular motion you get used to, and then suddenly its not there anymore.
