• Epo?

  • Optional or mandatory?

  • Epo?

bit of the old Pot Belge maybe?

Could just get a couple grams of boggle to add some fizz to my ride :)

  • Please, *QUOTE THIS LIST* and update it with your times.

I cannot believe how quickly the list got broken. The numbers are generated automatically (when you quote it, you'll see the magic), so you don't have to worry about re-ordering, plus you'll preserve the links to the GPS logs. Thank you :)

I have very little to do with myself atm, so I will make a point of nerging every single list-breaker until you start to get the point. Let's get this one right, yeah?

  • Pretty low threshold for verification, given Olly's link!

Hehe was wondering how long that would take #trollface.jpg

  • ^^ +1

  • Loving the medals.

Lost a stone since I did that, so I aim to consolidate my position as soon I can get down and post a verified time.

Oh, and Fixed Cheese - you should stay fixed. Definitely way quicker with a lighter bike.

  • Was going to give Nathan a special cheese medal, but sod that. Pub to be going to innit.

  • 6pt, nice one. gonna bang out some times tomorrow night if anyone fancies joining me.

although of course they have to be solo

    Ah yeah, go on!

  • I'll draw you a drunken babybel when I get home :)

  • Boom!

  • No drunken drawing, but I'll be leading a train round tomorrow. Leaving Peckham approx 1230, RP cafe approx 1315. Can promise pain and hopefully a sub-55, not much else :)

  • See you there lover! Prepare for a savage and gruesome sucking of your rear wheel...

  • Ed: But how would you know if you can keep up anyway?

    How would I know what?

Surely ed doing it on a heavy bike isn't much different to people trying it fixed. Sometimes making something more if a challenge is more fun.

that's the ticket, basically like choosing the 'hardcore' mode in a videogames.

Not that riding a late 80's 12 speeds bicycle constituted as 'hardcore' of course (i'd says an Ordinary would be!).

    Lies.

    Sigh.

Just suggesting it would make sense to go out and set a benchmark on your best equipment before trying on a heavy rig.

Personally, I'd find it too tempting to blame a shit performance on my equipment if I was crap the first time round.

  • To be honest, my best rigs is a heavy bike too (steel fixie skidder that's still in the states).

I can do it either way though, do the heavy steel bike first then ride the bike with the best equipment, although I am better off doing it first on my best equipment, just not feasible right now.

We need some ground rules here.

In the interest of athletic purity, I'd propose that all submitted times are done solo, not as part of a group.

    Otherwise what's the point?

  • Bike radar >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Agreed Andy (higher up this page)

I'm treating today as a familiarisation session...have never been to Richmond Park before.

    I won't post a time unless I'm solo.

    Achtung!

I agree with andy fwiw. No trains

  • Yep, solo it is. If people want to start posting team times then we can add another section to the list.

  • Running an hour or so late, but heading over now...

  • Looking forward to an update by the time I have my tea break, then Tom.

^ 6pt and Hillspills in a third lap Massa-Hamilton conflict?
