Look out for Rozers.

Broomhill corkscrew tightens, so take a nice wide line. (I don't brake)

Get out the saddle on the 2 climbs (Broomhill, Sawyers)

The rest is fairly flat. Punch it obvs.

Avoid deers, peds, cars, mamils etc.

Maybe reccie a warm up lap b4.

Bleurgh. Windy, got rained on, and had to ride with a POS Schwalbe on the back after my Vittoria exploded. Still, ended up doing 60 miles so a good day out. Definitely got unfinished business though.

How did you find it?

Yes, road bike. Definitely a couple of minutes to come off, rode 30 miles before having a go so would like to try a fresh attempt. It was quite tough actually, headwinds on some of the drags and neither of the climbs were particularly pleasant.

You do get time trialists going round.

I think Steve Irwin is pretty quick.

I wonder if a geared TT was setup correctly what could be done.

Steve Irwin is one of the most aero people around, very refined position. Probably a couple of mph to be gained on a TT bike.

David Millar did a 13:35 single lap of RP. Of course, that may not translate directly to 40:45 for 3 laps, but I don't think he'd be that far off.
