I'm out, but pitch for a Monday 12-2 slot.
-
• #1203
my free days are Wednesdays and Fridays
-
• #1204
My free days are all-the-fucking-time again. Going to take it out on my legs, they'll be screaming for employment soon enough.
-
• #1205
so Wednesday and Friday rides - make it a regular thing?
-
• #1206
Next Friday could be good, buy it is along way away.
-
• #1207
^^no reason not to at the moment. Will need to sneak some distance and hills work in too a some stage though if you feel like exploring further afield.

hah, right when I'm working that day.
will talk to the boss and see if i can change my shift a bit...
-
• #1209
Would love to join in, but still running too high a gear ratio, need a smaller front chainring before i can set a decent time...
-
• #1210
its not about setting a time right now, too cold, too windy, too middle of fucking winter
its just about riding bikes
-
• #1211
Can confirm later is now a possibility if you feel like a gentler start to the day. Midday perfectly acceptable, but I won't be able to hang around for too long after for coffee and talking so earlier still preferred.
-
• #1212
LOL, trust me riding 15X50 around Richmond park isn't ideal, especially after my warm up from Beckton.
But going early is probably the right idea though with day light issues and possible wind
-
• #1213
I'm tempted to go down in the morning for a lap or 2. Will see if I wake up in time.
-
• #1214
I would like to point out that I am not standing around in the cold for an hour waiting for people to turn up again. If you're not there in a +/-10 minute window, you've missed me.
-
• #1215
yeah I'm not committing to anything. I've got to go to the post office and pick up my new Bont's first.
-
• #1216
lets revert to mid day?
-
• #1217
Jolly good. Sorry to have been a pain.

I guess I am pretty shit
anyone for lappage on Saturday?
-
• #1219
Not shit at all. You've set a time, now you can try to beat it. Also, I'm pleased because I'll no longer be on the bottom of the list.

My view is that RP laps are a measure of individuals progress.
Laps at this time of year are not likely to be fast, but you can then see your fitness and form improve over the next few months.
Right now the air is cold, it is windy, so don't worry about the time you set, but just look to improve it.
