  • i have a park tool stand, you can borrow it, but having cycled across london with it once - i would suggest you use a car to pick it up and return it - it weighs a fair bit but makes bike tinkering so much easier

  • I say make one of these with it...

  • I've everything bar a workstand which it would be nice to borrow if you've one?

Wheels not only survived but remain true! Must have hit the back dead-on and the weakest component in the wheel/fork/steerer/frame equation was evidently the frame. I'd bet that the fork is fine too as it's an alu steerer... Not that I'll be selling it on Obv.

Just heard from back from somebody I know at Evans that you will be alright with the price. Happy building.

  • Is that a dripping tray?

like whats on the George Foreman Grilling machine

  • Next time I agree to meet anyone at the park, I'm going to turn up an hour late. Everybody else does.

We all work on courier time now we ride fixed
Courier time = time +1hr go to any alley cat and see what time they actually start vs when they were supposed to start

  • Just heard from back from somebody I know at Evans that you will be alright with the price. Happy building.

I'm worried whether or not the frame is actually in a warehouse not whether the price is right :)

Might actually make one of those seats!

  • If you do, just make sure you don't crash it ;0)

  • If I head over after work to do some gentle laps of the park is there anything to watch out for in terms of culling deer etc, or is that over now?

  • like whats on the George Foreman Grilling machine

  • cliveo, DJ. do you fancy it tomorrow middle of the day ish?

  • Can we speak first thing. Could be a goer.

  • yes.

  • Noon at the cafe?

  • sounds good.

Was there two nights ago, all quiet.

  • i am not sure if i can make it tomorrow, am going to court with a friend, but if it finishes early enough i will try to come and join you

otherwise call me when you are finished if you want a coffee

  • i am not sure if i can make it tomorrow, am going to court a friend

  • Very pleasant if somewhat windy ride with Mrs Myth and Rob who joined us after a lap. Three laps clockwise. Untimed.

  • up for Friday laps?

  • Possibly

  • you don't have a "business lunch"?

    omfg

  • Tomorrow. Friday 9 December 2011

    Noon

    Roehampton Gate Cafe.

Dress for cold and expect wind and low sun.

Three laps or thereabouts, untimed and at a social pace.

  • If it's untimed it has little to do with the three lap challenge besides a similarity of venue, no? there's a Last Minute Rides thread for that kind of thing.

  • We are training for timed attempts. I need to ensure that I can ride as far as three laps in one sitting. I need James to talk me through the intricacies of the corners and the technical descents. In good time, once my training has been completed and I have mastered the technicalities of the course I will publish a time. Until then I will pollute this thread with my warm up.

  • Hope things improve at work. Oh to have a job.
