I love that I have been forced to change my mind concerning the only remaining part of my current project and in doing so have found a replacement component that is comparable in quality and design but is even prettier than my original choice.

Cycling over Battersea bridge on the way to work, turning onto the embankment and, just for a second, the river smelling of the sea and transporting me to a Cornish fishing village, about to enter a wonderful pub.
Bliss.

this thread has proper cheered me up whilst getting stressed about work.
i love when you're locking up at a bike rack in a rush and you bump into someone you know unlocking their bike in a rush. you chat for 5-10 mins and then both end up late. worth it.

I love words like 'synergy', 'parallel' and 'partnership'.
If I use them once in every sentence, my boss thinks I'm doing a fantastic job and just leaves me alone.

I love how ridiculously strong my current bike set-up is, now if only I had some decent cranks.....

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.That is the prayer used in alcoholics/narcotics anonymous 12 step programme meetings, when you give yourself over to higher being. Always the stumbling block for me....

^ Sorry, wasn't meaning to undermine that - expressed myself badly. I was trying to say that it's a short and simple prayer that seems to work for people - take the God bit out and I like it too.
This tilt shift miniature photos malarkey. Saw it in another thread and am going to have a go at making my own using PS. Thanks Tescos.
