  • Yule Log
Cake of choice over the festive period.

After extensive taste tests I can report that the Marks & Spencer's one is the undisputed king of store bought logs (under £10 category)

Cannot comment on home made as there are ~25million homes and around 41m people who consider themselves bakers, but am willing to include if they send me one.

  • Is this not just a chocolate Swiss roll?

  • my soma smoothie, brought it with a tax rebate back in 2006, it was the bike I had when I joined the forum, before the ti track frame I'd brought by mistake arrived from China.
The bike I was on when I went on the first bridges ride, it got me through two dunwich dynamo's, took me to paris, sunday club runs with brixton cycles, 15mile commutes in the dead of winter to feltham, and general riding duties when I wasn't riding fixed, or needed to do some distance.
I'm swapping the frame out for a slightly younger ti one, and was thinking to sell it on (which would make me sad) to recoup some of the costs of new frame and let someone else get the benefit of such a versatile and reliable frame, but I'm leaning more towards keeping it, for old times sake. And if we ever move into a place big enough, putting it on the wall alongside travel bike..

  • Keep it for old times sake if you can, I regret shifting all the bikes I've had over the years especially the tourer and the paddy wagon...but yea, dibs if not.

  • Marabou chocolate.

More specifically eating marabou chocolate instead of using the turbo trainer like I had planned.

  • John Guest push fit plumbing.

It enables an idiot like me to do basic plumbing. Today I fitted a bib tap in my garage so I can run a hose to the pressure washer for bike and car washing duties.

  • Sometimes I get a bit cranky about the rising damp in my 200 year old house. Then I light the wood burner, make a cuppa, grab a book and all is right in the world.

  • Mudguards, riding through a bit of water and not getting a wet arse, luxury.

  • This did not do the numbers it deserved. Still laughing.

  • The key change bit in Eternal Flame where the 'Say My Name' section comes in.

  • I LOVE a good key change. Keep thinking about doing a mixtape/cd/spotify playlist (i bet there is one already) but will never get round to it

Chain Reaction by Diana Ross, and most Stevie Wonder tracks also fit the bill

  • There's a Beyonce song that is key changes all the way through

  • I'm a recent massive convert to oranges. Love those fuckers. Not related to anything anyone else has said recently. Not sure you can include a key change in an orange.

  • And they love you back

  • The best three quid I've ever spent. Telescopic back scratcher from Flying Tiger. Oooh, you know you want one.

  • ....the blossoming of the magnolias. Its a massive dose of welcome colour after months of grey, and its like a signal to all other trees to get a hurry on and leaf up, spring and summer is definitely a go.

  • Reminds me, my garden could do with a tidy

  • When Skip issues me a refund for half my pizza order because the delivery guy handed them to me vertically.

  • You should still bill them for topping slippage, your pizza reconstruction guy, a week in therapy and mental cruelty.

Sorry, that's America, forgot you're Canadian.

  • Yah, we’re getting there though…

  • Comedy falling over at no speed, when stopped dead stuck on the muddiest middle of the bridleway and not being able to unclip, result getting covered in leaf mold and dirt.
Off road cycling has made me love bikes again.
