Fucking cats, shitting everywhere. In my flowerbeds. In the gutter. Outside my door. On my shed roof. Dog owner lets its dog shot on the pavement, society goes batshit. Cat shits on a child's lap, congressional medal of honour......
Fucking cats. Fuckers.

My parents kitchen fire alarm (which sits 1m from the cooker and is wired to all the fire alarms in the house).
Absolutely nothing burning. No smoke. Two pans simmering with water. Oven at 200°.
Well within the norms of cooking. All of them going off like it's the fucking blitz.

Cats always shit in the same spot in my flower bed. I put a load of chilli powder there this afternoon. Will update if results are favourable.

Did this work? I've got an unidentified mammal (either cat, fox or small human) shitting in my shrubbery. I wish it wouldn't.

cat
Is ashamed, and buries its poop
fox
Is proud, and poops on top of things
-
• #9985
small human
Claims it's only going for a wee, reappears on the sofa with no pants and shit smeared down its leg.

I hate people in the UK saying poop. Awful Americanism.
I won’t get dog shit bags from Tesco as a result.

Poop poop!

Actually it does -seem- to have worked. What was a regular cat shitting hotspot has since seen no turds.

This ninja is either failing to bury the cack, or it's proud, whilst also scraping up soil and scattering it about.

Cats shitting in flowerbeds, use thorny rose prunings in a lattice pattern. The gravel drive however is like a giant litter tray.

The cat/s who shits in our flower bed kind of only half buries it. I think it’s just a bit thick or lazy. Or maybe it’s scared of the foxes that frequent are garden and is always a bit distracted.
I’m glad the foxes shit elsewhere as that fucking reeks!

I think some cats only have a loose understanding of their own instincts.
I used to have a cat that would take great care to dig a six inch deep hole before taking a dump next to it and walking away.

Lol. True.

TBH this is bog standard trend forecasting stuff. My wife works in the field and their packages always include a set of Pantone codes that'll be on trend next year. Dazed have just bought a package or possibly have their own trend team and are making a big deal out of having this knowledge. Or was it the way they've called them 'millennial pink' and 'gen Z yellow' the thing you hate?

it's the weird backward logic that moderates willing to accept pragmatic compromise for the sake of making progress are somehow fratonising with the enemy
Pragmatism is not something that belongs to "centrists". Aneurin Bevan had to be pragmatic to get the NHS from a dream to a reality, but he was nobody's centrist.
A lot of people who call themselves centrists are just lazily indulging the golden mean fallacy. The kind of asshole who used to say "You're very confident in your opinion" when they had no response to an argument, but has now graduated to "I take the middle ground" and feels good about it, despite knowing fuck all about the actual ground.
Companies who seem unable to grasp that ‘pay within 30 days’ doesnt mean ‘don’t bother paying me until at least 30 days has elapsed’.
