I hate

Sitting in cafe/petrol station/whatever soaked to bone, shivering, getting more and more tired, after getting fucked over by a mountain storm, wearing summer kit. With Your car parked on the over side of a 650m high mountain pass.

This happens so bloody often.

Watching the tour yesterday. I half hoped they'd turn the peloton around at the top, hand them a flimsey gilet, and tell them to desend back Down to sea Level. Attempt to revive themselves With a service station latte and a Snickers, while actually just further envoking leg Death. Then Climb a bastard 8.5 % pass to where they've parked the car. Which doesnt contain any dry clothes.

(probs a rant. But hate seemed more appropriate)

Car mechanics in America calling themselves 'techs'

A friend of mine is 6'9" and is a cameraman (wildlife stuff). Constantly flying all over the world on economy, the poor bugger. Has a good line into smarming his way into the emergency exit seats though, which helps.

I've also flown longer flights in economy, but the seat space in this budget flight was ridiculous, and yes the client should pay for a decent economy flight

tbf, the pr did apologize as it was the only available seat, and my grievance is more with tight arse airlines squeezing space

Vans don't flash so you never know until you get the brown envelope. It was absolutely pissing down so my plate might not have shown up so well. I also don't know how long their range is. Tense times.
