I just realised how often I make use of the word utilise.

Normally when discussing our ability to do a particular thing being allowed because of our ability to make use of certain legal safe harbours.

Utilise is shorter and more cleverer sounding than 'make use of' so I shall continue to use it as a mask for my inadequate ejucashun.

Someone just tried to use my debit card in Sao Paolo. Thanks to the bank for being on the ball and ringing me, but I've just had to cut my card in half, and it may take 5 working days to get a replacement.
