'You've got'
On fucking mastermind FFS

You’ve got to explain this one to me.
-
• #25630
I'd like to, but I've got no idea how to
-
• #25631
I think the point is that the 've and the got make a redundant pair.
As in "I've a fairly short fuse in response to widely used but possibly technically incorrect grammatical constructions." is sufficient and does not require a "got".
"I've" == "I have"

• #25632
No, they were smashed or in gutters with all manner of other shit I could've filled a skip with. It's amazing how shit the roadsides here looks when you're only going walking pace through it.
-
• #25633
"I have got" to stop caring so much?
-
• #25634
And that’s before Mark here decides to empower random tinkerers, with little to no appropriate electrical knowledge and technical training, to wire double digits of discarded vape batteries together and use them to power a vehicle.

Have you tried pedalling harder?
-
• #25636
There's been home-wired e-bikes around for years. I very much doubt the people with no electrical knowledge are the kind of people that are going to pick up a bunch of vape batteries and try to wire them together. I mean, I'll wait to see it happen but it strikes me as unlikely. Far easier to buy a kit off ebay.

Trains back from Brighton were fucked. You should've seen me "running" with one shoe looking like the one above flapping and the other shoe missing its sole completely so I was sliding around all while trying to protect my broken fucking arm. What a fucking mess.
Oh, so adding to the I hate list: Blackfriars fucking station and however that cunt connects to District Line and all cancelled trains and late trains everywhere.

297 bus. Waited 20mins for it and then caught two more of them stuck in traffic.
Oh, so actually I hate traffic. I lost count of the single-occupant cars that went by while I was waiting for a bus. They can't all have jobs that "require" a car ffs. How do people do that? I got out and walked faster than our bus and caught the one in front too and that means I passed a fuck load of cunts sat in cars. It's just dumb.

SO MANY Single-occupant cars. Lazy cunts.

^This, always this.

It's a lifestyle disability for most, once people have degenerated to that level there is no way back.

I went for a pint in Stokey on Saturday teatime. That’s two buses from my house, which is usually fine - about 40mins.
I got off and walked - quicker than the bus - because it seems most people actually drive to the Emirates on match day. I mean, WTAF?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Most people are idiots.

I hate: not being able to remove a Star or Favourite from Google Maps if the place has closed down.

I agree about people

A big gash in a nearly new urban GP.
Cannot unsee. Unlike the warning light on my dash which I've fixed with some black insulation tape. That'll learn it.

You should've seen me "running"
There'd be cctv, you could FOI it & share? Think those trainers have had it, n+1 time.
Oakley (EssilorLuxottica) customer service. FFS.
I spent £99 on a pair of replacement lenses.
They were faulty (one had a small metal spike right in the centre, presumably to do with the mirror coating).
I contacted customer services and gave them photos etc and they authorised the return and said they'd replace.
It took them about a month to respond, and they told me they were out of stock and and that I should request a refund instead.
...except they were in stock on the UK website.
They then told me (via a series of badly translated/possible AI emails) that didn't mean they were actually in stock, and that I wouldn't be able to put them in my basket, that if I did I wouldn't be able to check out, and if I did the order wouldn't go through.
None of this was true, so now I have a another pair (not faulty though), and have to now request a refund. And I have lost about 30p interest. FFS.
