Chatgtp can't summarise YouTube videos.
What's the rough jist?

Venture capital and private equity gobbling up popular channels.
Middle managers all want their cut, and they want more from less while treating as disposable the unique talent who built the following of the 'brand' which the soulless ghouls have acquired.

Fair enough I guess. But surely content creators must know they've been in a unique position in history when they can directly reap pretty much all the rewards of a TV production company with few costs.
Make hey and all that, but don't be surprised that one day the sun stops shining.

Impressionists. The do-someone-elses-voice type, not the paint-pictures-with-little-brush-strokes kind.

^ I read that in the voice of Feargal Sharkey.

Impressionists that are incapable of just using their own voice when on a chat/panel/quiz show and no one is asking them to do an impression but shoehorn in little medley anyway

Garmin watch battery life.

Garmin tech support - Told them in the ticket I bought my pedals from them, they asked for the proof of purchase otherwise "there's nothing we can do"... so I downloaded the receipt from their website
what a waste of everyone's time...

Waste of time?
Have you dealt with health insurance, GPs or hospitals recently? FML

I only ever had one Garmin watch and it died after 6 months so full cash back.

I've had loads, from memory: Forerunner 110, 405, 920XT, 935, 945
(Thank $DEITY they abandoned the touch bezel controls, they were properly shit.)
Battery life does tend to fall off after 18 months or so. I'm on my second 945 as I complained to Garmin and got a refurbed replacement at a discount.
Current 945 lasts about 5 days with no active use (but it does 24/7 pulse and SpO2), otherwise I just get into the habit of putting it on to charge once a day when I've got an hour long meeting. If I use it for an activity then I'm generally back home at my desk where I can take it off to charge it and copy off the data at the same time.
Think I'll go 265S in a couple of months.

I have a (refurbished) Fenix 6s. It will easily last maybe 10 days with no activities (i'm a lazy fecker). No issues with it at all over the last 2 years. Its great.

Kitchen appliance. Washing machine caught fire this week, ordered a new one that arrive today. Last night the dishwasher also stopped working and is seemingly not economical to fix. So two new appliances ordered this week. They're both pretty old and were here when we moved in.
Car has it's service and MOT next week, expecting it needs a new set of tyres so will be an expensive couple of weeks. -

hi Hugo7
Hi, How are you?
Hi Hugo7Mate! Come on just tell me what you want.
I wish I had the patience to keep it going with endless hi + pause responses.

That kind of shit is banned at my workplace. If you ping someone, explain why straight away, not with some false bonhomie "Hi, how are you?" bullshit.

Great link.
I hate that MS Teams uses [return] to send the message whereas in MS Outlook it is [ctrl]+[return] whilst [return] is next line.
I always put a line break after Hi, so often send only Hi in teams when I was simply formatting my message as I write it.

stupid laughs in the background of bbc or other channels comedy shows. sometimes just have to change channels to avoid the idiotic baying / guffawing or chortling.
feel sorry for those people's partners who have to live with it day in day out.
Sociopathic neoliberalism, to put it redundantly

It's as if fields of endeavour are neighbourhoods, being gentrified as the soul evaporates when the money moves in.
