Yes - in ours too. Somehow my eye-rolling when I sit down and discover it's happened again doesn't seem to have changed the outcome.

Would it help if your partner was present to witness said eye-rolling? Or would that cause more problems that it solved...

I'm extremely fortunately in that I'm loo roll ambidextrous, and can use both under and over loo rolls.

Don't understand quite how this winds people up.

I've got at least (fibre dependent) 20 seconds of sitting on the toilet before I need to do anything with the toilet roll. It takes 2 seconds to look at the roll, see it is in its sub-optimal orientation, and swap it round.

I can imagine it might be more annoying if you have one of those toilet roll holders that is a faff to change the roll, in which case I'd be hating that more than the incorrect restocking of it.
