Anyone who does anything at 6am
I went for a 6am sea swim this morning and it was lovely.
And I wore a dry robe for changing after!

my dog regularly gets me up at 6am desperate for a poo and I have to say I highly mistrust anyone who may cross our path at that time in the morning. I'm there against my will but what are THEY doing up at such an ungodly hour? wrong'uns all of 'em...

or people going to jobs with a depressingly long commute and/or quality of life ruining anti-social working hours.
...the absolute melts.

Acceptable use ^
Meeting friend at Costa, dropping kids at school*, or going to walk the dog (carrying Costa cup) whilst dressed in dry robe = hate.
'* SUV always.

Crocs too, I hope.

No Crocs. Adidas Sliders for me.

Get in the sea. Oh wait...
Also people who say get in the sea.
-
• #20059
Urgh, yeah I’m not a fan of that saying. Not sure why, it just grates.

Our seas are already full of pollution. I'd much rather e.g. Boris be fired into the sun.

renovations
My friend is at the beach in Sanya, china's only (and not amazing) beach resort. She just messaged me to say that a cement mixer has just parked up, blocking her view of the sea from her sun lounger, and is now noisily mixing cement. Renovating the beach? Getting in the sea? I don't know but I'm pretty sure she hates it.

Do you know how expensive it would be to do that?! Much cheaper to just dump him in a remote location with nothing but a camera crew to film how he gets on surviving off his wits alone.

My goddamn neighbours. For the past four weeks a smoke alarm or something has been emitting a loud beep once every minute. Five people live in the house. Why would you not just change the battery?!

Laziness or cost.
-

Laziness or ignorance you mean.
I had something similar at an old flat.pretty sure it was in the sealed off unaccessible basement under my house.
Still have flashbacks.
I hate being the only non diabetic on a family holiday.
It's coming.
I know. -

I meant cost. Some of those smoke alarms have sealed batteries as there's plenty of people who can't afford a tenner to buy a new one. Or even a fiver for a battery.
It's a possibility.

Yeah, I was surprised to discover that my mains connected alarms had a sealed backup battery that is recharged by the mains, but deteriorates over time. Once it started beeping, it had to be chucked. Annoying and wasteful.

Not a DIY job for some people either. ££

Could be intruder alarm backup. We had to get an alarm guy to change ours which took a couple of days.

If you've got the skills, maybe offer to help them out. It'll be a hint that it's bothering you at the very least. Good old fashioned British passive aggression...

Cynicism.

I hate this house and those birds.

Yours?
Have you tried any of the UV deterrents? Pigeons apparently interpret UV light sources as fire/threat. Have had good results on a large building using little trays of UV reflective gels recently.

Not mine, neighbour opposite. On average high forties living on and under his panels. For sunrise every morning they come and stamp about on my roof and velux windows, under which I am sleeping. I'm woken every day with "fingernails on a blackboard" noise as they jockey for position in the Velux luge. I think I have a strong case to obtain a licence to kill from DEFRA(?) as I'm almost certainly breathing their dust and my sleep is effected. A few sunflower seeds on the back lawn and they'll be culled.

It seems I only have to comply the GL41 regulations so that may be the solution.
