I hear you. My neighbours put mouse poison down and they all seemingly decided to die in my bathroom and kitchen walls, despite the fact we hadn't previously seen any evidence of having mice ourselves.
Hopefully the worst of it will pass before the summer!

Had this once and the smell wouldn't shift, ended up being a fox, riddled with maggots

Yikes. We use dto get it regularly in our ground floor flat in Forest Hill. Assume it was rats as they were a regular feature in the garden.
Non we have a mystery ghoul that persistently scratches under the floor in one corner of the living room and we've had birds fall down chimneys and trapped in the walls. Dunno what this is but it's annoying. The stink clings to stuff as well. *boaks

YouTube
You can filter out a lot of stuff that doesn't appeal to you, by clicking on the Three dots.
^Exactly, there's so much good content that's made by people who are interested in their hobby/subject.

Thoughts and prayers.
I had a rat decomposing under the floorboards and the smell was getting past the underlay and carpet. I had to shut the room off for two weeks it was so rank. -

I'm guessing you just need attention, rather than anything specific. Otherwise, you would of course just fucking write the question that you need to ask, you vapid piss bucket.

Follow up. He calls me. I don't pick up. I message him 'Hi, what's up?'
'I have a question'
Then why don't you fucking ask me it you fucking shit gobbler and stop wasting my fucking time?
Jesus Fucking Christ

Last time I heard this, it was on the jury for a murder charge in Old Bailey. Have you checked the neighbours?

Because a verbal interaction transfers more information and it’s harder to do radio silence. The message is in the medium
-

If I get that message it generally means they want to discuss something sensitive/off the record/ not wanting to be subject to a future data request etc.
All the time would be annoying. -
• #18494
Yes, exactly.
“I wish to have a discussion which cannot be discovered during future legal review”

It's funny, I'm a great believer in picking up the phone and speaking.
But I'd usually give an indication of subject matter if I msg. Unless of course I think giving that away will make them duck my call.
As to why msg? 5 or 10yrs ago I probably wouldn't have, but now people are so reluctant to speak that it seems polite to give them notice that you want to have a convo.

Now I feel self conscious about how often this is also the case.
But often it's because I need to explain a wider set of rules and regulations, how they'll apply, why it matters and what we think the best next step is based on various aims and resources available. Even writing that explanation is a bit of a faff. You can just communicate so much more volume in spoken words.

The last 'do you have a minute for a call message' I had was the other week from my boss. I got a pay rise (which was very nice thank you very much). I'm not convinced a chat message would have been ideal.

If my boss messaged me "Hi Dethbeard, you're getting a pay rise" I'd be happier than if she called me to tell me the same.

For binary yes/no closed questions chat is fine. But when we are in the realms of open discussion chat allows dickheads to treat the interaction like Steven Hendrie playing snooker, slowing everything down and time wasting. I’m more of an Alex Higgins myself
The cloying stench of death that hangs in the air in my hallway. Assume a rodent or bird has carked it under the floorboards. It's been a week now and it's still fucking rank.
